Pretty terrible service in store and online. There were some positives, the store was bright, clean and there were plenty of staff. The problem was the staff weren't helpful. I'd placed and order that they couldn't find and it took three staff members before I got pointed in the direction of someone who actually could help. The staff member was kind, patient and is the reason the second star is added to this review. They tried to help in a couple of ways before explaining what may have gone wrong and rang another team to process a refund. They didn't take any bank details and if my order was missing, how could they know where to refund? However an hour later I got a text message telling me to come and collect the order that supposedly didn't exist. Sure enough there it was, with no explanation. Not a good experience, wasted quite a lot of my day.
It's probably one of the best selections of equipment available to view from Currys in the North East, which is great to get hands-on. However, if you are going for advice, help, and knowledge, I wouldn't bother. All just salespeople are looking for the next commission. I asked a simple question as to whether a door was able to open both ways, as it looked like the hinge could be swapped, instead of saying they didn't know I was told no it couldn't, loosing a sale and limiting my choice 2 two models I didn't want, got home and 2 min google later and I was correct it could be swapped.
Great service, great price for the laptop I've just bought. Expert advice and the staff member got the right equipment for me. 100%perfect
All l am saying is terrible terrible service! I am like ping pong bal between this store and online creation service..How can it not possible even 1 person do not know what they doing and trying to charge me for item which l have cancelled the order! I lost the words!
Terrible service online, website crashed twice when trying to take a payment for goods so money needed to be refunded by my bank two times which took 4 business days each time. When products finally arrived the washing machine was broken, driver tried to offer a 15% discount to take the goods, when I refused he complained it was more work for him and his general manner was appalling. They then moved my fridge into the house only for me to discover later that the door is dented. Tried ringing customer services twice to be left on a lengthy hold with no response. This whole thing will really make me think twice about ordering from Curry's again in the future.
Terrible. The lady started shouting at us when we grabbed a toaster and kettle to purchase because she thought I was going to open the box I wasn't but if I'm going to buy something I think I'm entitled to open it if I choose she was rude and disrespectful. I didn't catch her name but she was South Asian India, Pakistan , Bangladesh etc. Seriously left the trolley was going to purchase quite a few things in the middle of the aisle and walked out. Some people should not work with customers. She is one of them! Went to another shop to buy what I wanted
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Currently refusing to refund on a faulty laptop with clear breaches of consumer law. Avoid this company at all costs.
Ruth helped me and my auntie so much she was amazing! 10/10 for helping she done a good job with helping what we needed!
Very spacious and organised. Lots of friendly staff who are willing to help with any issue. Only downfall is the lack of camera equipment and stock kept in store as their website boasts some brilliant items.
I had a problem with an item covered by product protection that I couldn't resolve online. Went to the shop and the young lady on the desk sorted it out in minutes. Excellent. Not 5 stars because of the issue with getting past the telephone menu. Very complicated and long winded. The shop is fine.
