Well, no approach to good customers service manners , rude, it doesn't matter if you say hello you won't get the same back.!!!!!!!! And now a firecracker!!!!!!!! I was the only one in the queue to be asked for the Argos Card and it was not enough manager ask for ID So, I asked if I look like a thief robber who wants to steal a mini chopper blender. Finally got the answer‍‍‍‍ I'm suspicious because myself smile too much and was nice Well done Argos Team
I bought a laptop for my mother after 4 days the screen was going blank intermittently so I took it back. wouldn't accept it unless I had proof of fault. Why would I want to exchange it for the same model if this one was working? the manager was rude and obnoxious and could have dealt with it much better. it so happens the screen started doing it all the time when I tried it later that day.
Do Not Buy Insurance At Argos! I went up to Argos to get a broken Xbox controller replaced as per the insurance policy which was taken out when we first bought the item. They told us they couldn't replace it due to not having the same one in stock. We said "it doesn't have to be the same color!" We said OK give us one which is more expensive and we will pay the difference! They said "cant do that we have non in stock" We said "surely you have them in stock at one of your other stores?" They replied "There are non available but we can give you a gift voucher to the value of the controller" We replied "what use to us it a gift voucher when we cant buy another controller. We request a refund for the full amount!" They replied "we are not going to do that, its a gift voucher or nothing!" Argos tried to hide behind their "Terms and Conditions". I explained to them that the goods I bought were not fit for purpose and that as per the "The Consumer Rights Act 2015" I wanted a full refund if they wouldn't or couldn't replace the controller. They refused! Do not put up with this nonsense with any purchase you make. If the goods you buy are not fit for purpose you are protected by the "Consumer Rights Act of 2015" for up to six years after you buy the product. Next step: Write a letter to their complaints department and give them the opportunity to respond within the time limits in the act. If there is still no resolution to the issue write to the Ombudsman service who will then deal with the issue. What a very poor service Argos! What happened to your customer service? My son can no longer communicate with his friends during the Covid crisis due to lockdown. I wont be buying anything else from your store. Many other companies look after their customers and have many five star ratings. The only rating which I can honestly give you is 0/10!
Good place as the items are easy to find and the staff are mostly friendly. The items for sale are in a wide variety and the service is excellent. The children love watching the conveyer belt move down and down so they will be entertained and you can sit and enjoy a free catalog. But the wait for your item is quite long and sometimes if you are going to be next they bump you to third. Overall, the place is a nice experience and a great place to pick a toy for next Christmas but all good things can be improved and this is no exception.
Waited two days for a delivery that didnt turn up. No email text or phone call too explain why or to notify of any problems or delays. Item was in stock and paid for, they even charged me twice then refunded one item? Totally unprofessional and messed up my order. This store wasted two days of my time! Terrible customer service, they obviously do not care less about customers. Shop elsewhere in shops that look after there customers.
Massive thank you to Gemma and Kieran who swapped my dryer as it was faulty, fast service and they even helped me get the old one out and the new one in the car. Thank you so much!!
Not very polite staff especially Lauren I tried getting my money back for a product and she was really not helpful. She looked like she had just left school and needs to go back. I think she should go to work at McDonalds NOT argos.
Went in to look at jewelry and get my girlfriends ring size. I was completely ignored for 5 minutes and ended up walking out. Zero stars due to the customer service.
Got some office stuff for the office, and work mobile, easy to order online and collect, slightly more expensive than other online shops but at least I could collect on same day instead of waiting.
Very helpful staff couldn't do enough to help me with buying a phone
