Smyths at Middle Engine Lane in Wallsend is a very good toy store.  My recent visit was for a car seat for a child, my daughter having grown out of her previous one.  

The staff were helpful and went through the forms quickly with me.  The store itself was quite busy but we got served in good time.  The parking was off the main road and easily accessible.

Prices for most of the toys that we looked at seemed to be quite reasonable and thanks to the large size of the store most things we were after seemed to be in stock.  Overall, quite a good experience and I am likely to go back.
