Exemplary experience: really helpful sales person - we wanted to replace our broken fridge-freezer and she really knew a lot of useful information and helped us make a good choice. The fridge was delivered today with great communications from the delivery side. So we managed to get a replacement within 24 hours! Delighted with the service we had: it couldn’t have been better! I had a cooker delivered and fitted and the Gas engineer Alex Trotter on the paperworknWas absolutely brilliant.nHe went through everything in detail and was thorough and professional throughout.nFull respect of my property was taken. 10/10 for customer service.
Visited Currys in Hove to buy a printer today and was helped by Omar, a brilliant young sales person who exemplified this profession by being neither pushy or condascending familiar sales person traits but knowing his subject matter. Being somewhat cynical of 'sales people' in general, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience and really cannot praise Omar enough, given that he actually listened to my requirements and then found me the perfect product. The end result was one VERY HAPPY customer and I am absolutely delighted with my HP 7005 printer which ticked all the boxes and was price matched into the bargain! I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to give this feedback after such a positive expericence at this store. I highly recommend Currys in Hove!
Nice shop, well laid out, clean and modern. If you simply want to admire products, it’s excellent. If you want to buy one, however, it becomes something of a sketch.nnThe speakers are locked in a cage. You go to the till, where you’re told you must join a virtual queue - despite there being no one waiting. To join this queue you must first find a man in a high-vis jacket.nnThis turns into a side quest. There’s the TV man. The printer man. Another man who appears to work there but insists he doesn’t. Eventually you locate the correct high-vis man, who radios someone.nnThat someone begins walking toward you from the horizon at roughly the speed of continental drift. By this point you’ve explained to about five different people that you’d like to buy a speaker.nnHe arrives, tells you he needs a key, and sets off again on a slow pilgrimage. Eventually the cage is opened, the speaker is retrieved, and you can finally pay - at which point they try to sell you insurance for it.nnAll in all, a very entertaining experience. Just not a very efficient way to buy a speaker.
