New EV chargers at Sainsbury's Portslade, 75p per KW fast charging while you shop.nnEasy to use and used a few times now, and not yet had a problem.
What fantastic easy to use reliable EV charging plus a great store!
Shopping at this store is often a very taxing experience. It is the only shop in the vicinity where you need to scan a receipt to be able to exit. You are also required to have a pound to use trolleys which are rarely stored near the entrance where you would expect to find them. When you use Smartshop self scanning you are regularly every two shops or so picked for 'random' rescan via normal checkout which makes the whole Smartshop function completely useless. In addition you need to be careful with prices as regularly what is advertised/displayed doesn't come up on the self scanner. The store often changes its offerings/brands so it is hard to find the same product twice.
Recently improved with a facelift. New coffee shop. Much better all round. Fresh bakery, sushi, cafe, etc. Using Sainsbury's app is very convenient and provides individual offers.
