Some beautiful furniture. There's a full size car and fuzze table to entertain kids, latter on sale so handle with care!! Good quality filter coffee from fancy cups also on offer although not so practical when trying out furniture. Staff are not the friendliest, not acknowledgement or 'hello'.

Where do I start. Sofa ordered in September. Its now nearly April and after delivering the wrong sofa you are yet still to deliver the correct one. Dining table scratched when delivered. Two of the six dining chairs delivered scratched. The replacement chairs were also scratched. Side table scratched. After months of me constantly contacting customer services and assurances that you would deal with it nothing has happened. I have now posted on your Facebook page and initiated a report to the furniture ombudsman about your total apathy and flagrant disregard for a paying customer. I will never shop with you again and wish I had never set foot in your store. I urge everyone else to seriously consider their purchases from this company.

Amazing store that inspires the high luxury senses, you get the picture of how rooms can come together without feeling you are in a conveyor belt of mediocre quality. Best to go at night from 6:00pm to weekday closing time 8:00pm (more than generous browsing time) to get the best light ambience effect. I won’t be buying anything just yet ... it’s right up “expensive street” but one can certainly dream in there.

Being an upmarket home store I expected their customer service to match, how wrong I was! An item of furniture I bought from the Hove store developed a fault shortly after purchase due to a manufacturing defect. I requested the item was exchanged only to be told a repair could be offered and nothing more. Not quite the quality I had hoped for. Subsequently, Barker & Stonehouse have lost my custom for good.

It’s a lovely place to walk around and check out the furniture. It’s light and airy and you can tell the quality is high. Much nicer than your standard high street sofa stores.
