I had a Sunday roast here, the food was good with generous plates and perfectly cooked vegetables. Children's portions are well priced and good value. Others in my group had the sea bass and they really enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub with comfortable rooms friendly staff country location great real ale good value why would you stay in a faceless hotel when you can stay here for less.

The most friendly of greetings, clean, stylish, good choice of ales, cider, lager, wines and spirits.  Food was excellent, presented nicely and full of flavour.  Amazing views from the beautifully kept garden, an all round winner.  The landlords were lovely.

Friendly staff, a lovely ambience and good food. Will definitely return for a garden lunch with a view to die for. New owners in 2015, apparently, so older reviews not helpful.

A brilliant local, with great views and a real community feel. Also has great accomodation, if you looking to get away from a travel lodge, and the standard "lenny henry "rooms! They like dogs to!

Excellent stay it was clean very good value for money the food I generous and homely. Pete the chef was an excellent host and we didn't want to leave would highly recommend.

Great interior and food as well as lovely rooms with a nice shower. Could do with better wifi in rooms but no complaints!

I rate it solid 5/7. There is a Czech girl working here.  She can speak english.
