The food was outstanding and the service amazing. I have never had food so hot come out of the kitchen. The prices are so cheap that I wonder how they make a profit. Definitely the place to have lunch.evening meal or get together. Superb. Emma amazing host. A delightful place to dine .
We popped in after work, and although it was busy we got a table by the bar. The mango chilli chicken kebab was cooked to perfection followed by chocolate fudge cake. Our server Ben was brilliant. Ricky and the regulars invited us to play a few games of darts. Lovely food and great service, will definitely eat here again!
Fantastic place to eat amazing food. Friendly staff good quality for money. Went with my mum and her friend who took advantage of the over 65 menu for £4.95 meal and a pudding.
Green King chain, great food at a sensible price. We pass it numerous times each week but today was our first time eating here. Really enjoyed the food and drink. Thank you!
There is plenty of car park spot on the from t and the back. You can go in and eat , and you can reserve a table if you want to. If you know you will go down, you might want to reserve a table as it can be busy days and hrs there. So far, I had a double burger, which was very tasty. Also, I had a sharing plate, which had a 4 or 5 different food on it. One of my favourite ones on that is the chicken wings. There is a bar where you can give your food order and also you can get drinks. Clean toilet. The staff is very kind and very helpful. Food service is quick, I would recommend this place to eat/drink or meet ups.
Just had a lovely Sunday lunch. The staff are very helpful and check in with you throughout the meal to make sure everything is ok. Ordering though the app is really easy and quick. Service is efficient. Busy pub but lots of staff. Our table of 6 had really good food.
second occasion that I have visited recently and found the staff to be poor. A few weeks back got grilled as we walked in with a staff member asking if we had a table booked ….and this afternoon by the duty “Supervisor” she was rude not only to me but another customer. She was clearly stressed….. maybe a career in hospitality isn’t her bag and should look at working in HM Prison Service where her attitude is best placed
Had a meal from the festive menu. Excellent value for money, good size portions and food was hot, fresh and tasty. Definitely can't go wrong for the price. Staff also very friendly.
Excellent Pub, came for a relaxing sit down with my family, lovely atmosphere, top quality food, extremely friendly and relaxing. We were served by a chap called Harry, very polite and well mannered. We will be back again!
We wanted a child friendly pub where we could get some decent food that wasn’t going to break the bank and decided on the chestnut tree. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming and they were really accommodating for us and found a table where we could park the pram, the food was delicious as well, we had the mango chilli chicken kebabs, I highly recommend!
