I almost never leave reviews(bad habit I know) but this place was great. I bought some cheap trainers a while ago thinking I wasn't going to do much running, but I ended up doing it more and more as time went on. After a while I started getting pains in my right foot and knee. A friend advised I speak to someone who knows a bit about running/shoes so I went to Coventry runner and was impressed. The staff were helpful and friendly and the lady who served me checked how I walked and ran and knew straight away that I would get knee pains with my current setup-which I do. We went through numerous shoes and even when I settled on a pair she advised we look at the ones they had on sales as I could save some money. If a salesperson isn't just looking to get the most money out of me and actually help, it is a sure way of getting me to be a return customer and I will recommend them to friends. TLDR: great service, good selection, will use again .

Excellent shop, very knowledgeable staff. The gait analysis was really useful for choosing the right pair of running shoes and there was a very good selection. I will definitely be visiting again when I need a new pair of shoes. Thank you!

£30 for gait analysis if you don’t buy trainers. Queried this to be told “we’re not a public service.” Don’t mind a fair price for their time, but the amount holds you to ransom to buy there. £10 seems more reasonable. I will stick to the somewhat more professional sweatshop, who do not charge, and don’t insist on a purchase.

Terrible service. Owner was rude and condescending and refused to serve us on the basis that we may purchase elsewhere after having their gait analysis service. This was despite us agreeing to pay the gait analysis fee. Never have I had such bad service in a store!
