Great little saviour of a hotel. Found a room for two in the way to Manchester funnily. The rooms were fairly cheap in comparison to other hotels in the area, but when we got their the rooms was so much better than expected. You get two nicely sized beds, a well kept bathroom, plenty of space for you to store your belongings, a large sized desk for two laptops and a kettle :) and a bit more space. TV is provided too. Food isn't provided, but the pub is literally across the parking space, and to eat their throughout the day is still cheaper altogether than staying elsewhere in the area. Employees were hospitable too, despite the time of day.

The room was too small the staff was very unfriendly borderline rude really we was charged £40 for a room which was great but after we left we found out they had charged us another £50 because they found a bit of make up on the bed which they are claiming was ash. It was not ash it was eyeshadow which had broken in the suitcase on route to Birmingham. I have now just found out they took the money out before I even left the building therefore they couldn't of even checked the room before charging me this extra 50 pound I would not recommend

Me and my family visited this comfort inn 17/2/18 for us to stay the night . Absolutely disgusting room smelt of stale smoke central heating not working check in Clerk then gave us a heater to use. Poor customer service . Would not recommended this hotel stay to anyone.

On arrival we were given room 4, we opened the door and the smell of smoke was so overwhelming they changed us to room 6. Room 6 had a very strong stench of urine which you could still smell even with bathroom door shut. We went in a group of 6 - other rooms seemed fine. All our group commented on the smell of urine which caused us to have to spend most of our two nights in friends rooms. Bathrooms were unclean. Only upside was that the staff were friendly enough!

Pros: Helpful, welcoming staff. Cons: No lifts. Grossly uncomfortable beds. Room smells of smoke. Noisy, neighbors upstairs can be easily heard walking. Bathroom very dirty and hairy. The "free coffee" is a packet of instant coffee in-room. Don't recommend in summer months. Can barely open the window in this stifling room.
