Stayed at Heaton park due to bad weather. Excellent reception staff and cleaners. Our room was lovely and very clean. Would stay there again because it is so convenient for the Motorways. Linda and Eric Goodison.

Nice place for a short stay if you don't need to be right in the city centre. Hotel is on a busy road, but I had a room at the back of the building, so I couldn't really hear anything. Not sure what the road-facing rooms are like. Room was very clean and provided a good night's sleep. The two women on the front desk were very friendly and helpful sorting out a query I had with my booking. Would definitely consider staying here again. The only downside, like others have pointed out, are the slightly noisy floorboards.

Good budget hotel. Friendly, clean, convenient. Spoiled only by non functioning wifi.

Always clean and comfortable. Now that they've learned to turn on the heating in the bedrooms before you check in, there are no gripes
