I loved my stay at this hotel, mainly because of the staff, especially Elena and Bianca was an amazing and sweet ladys, very welcoming and had the best conversation with them. Only one thing's what I have to complain. Room was very hot. Air-conditioning doesn’t work. We can't cooling done our room. If is too hot is difficult to sleep and unhealthy. We had job to sleep. Some people like hot but some people like bit cool in night. Will be nice if temperature regulation will be work.
Nothing bad about it to be honest.. like most premier inn hotels, they are tired and could be doing with a refurbishment.. bed was great, shower was great.nice and warm. No way to cool room down..nBreakfast was OK in the beefeater next door..
The only positives is that check in was easy, and the front desk lady was extremely nice. The smell of this hotel is horrible though, especially when you walk through the first set of doors into the hallway! Please get the smell under control.. it’s bad. The rooms also smelled a bit musty. The bed is not comfortable, and for £130 a night, I expected more than one flat pillow per person. Definitely the worst premier in I’ve stayed in. We only stayed here because it was the closest hotel for the race that was in Heaton Park. I would consider other options if I were you.
We stayed one night here as we were attending a show at the AO arena. The outside is horrible. Potholes in the car park and rubbish everywhere. Once you get inside though it’s totally different. The staff were super friendly, the room was spotless and the bed was really comfy. The pub “attached” was fine but the staff there were quite slow. Location wise it’s perfect if you’re going into the city centre. I’d definitely stay here again. At £60 for a Friday night in December, you can’t go wrong.
A decent hotel in a good location, we came here for an overnight stay as we going back the next day. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are quiet, clean and spacious. I like the upgraded lighting they have done to the bed, adds a smart touch to the room. The bathroom is clean and has decent toiletries compared to hotels I have stayed in. You get the usual tea/coffee facilities, Beefeater is next door so you don't have to travel anywhere. If you want somewhere to stay in Manchester I recommend Heaton Park.
