Came here today as was in the area can't decide if I liked the place or not! Some old furniture abit like working man's club Plenty of tvs tho if you like sports. Mens toilet was abit scruffy. Food was nice thought drinks was expensive tho £4.40 for a strongbow kids meal was OK £5.50 get meal drink and 2 scoops of ice cream which you can pick which flavours. Staff seemed friendly enough probably won't return tho
Food was OK, brung one persons food out then took 10 minutes to bring the other out. Garlic dough balls are amazing. The pudding was dry and over baked. Most of the staff were friendly.
Excellent food. Lovely friendly staff. The firecracker chicken was delicious. My husband had steak pie which he said was amazing. Large portions good value for money. First time here we will be back.
A lovely pub inside with fantastic staff. I definitely have to mention the chef Amy who is an absolute joy and will serve you up amazing food! Dianne is fantastic too! Thanks for such a great time!
Dine out with friends on Saturday night and pop into this pub. We ordered starters of lamb kofta, gyozas and tortilla, plus two kids meals. Everything is hot and delicious. We added sticky toffee pudding which have warm pudding topped with ice cream. Nothing can be complained.
Got in the pub at 1-15, decided on the 2 course special , had to ask 3 times where our food was, left at 3-15, food lovely but terrible service, I feel like we went out for lunch and ended up having Tea !!! Spoilt what would have been a nice, reasonably priced experience.

As a vegan it’s so difficult to find yummy vegan food especially around this area. Delicious curry, hotpots and salads. You HAVE to try the chocolate orange brownie with vegan ice cream! SO GOOD!
Well the title of this review as got to be microwave mess in a a bowl. My friend and I ordered the chicken and mushroom with chips stilton sauce. It took 40 minutes to come. We took one look at it and complained said it is all microwaved, oven chips. Tough chicken, frozen veg warmed up stuffed in a bowl. Reluctantly they gave me my money back. Won't be going there again.
