Great value for money. This is a lovely quiet and clean place. There are eggs, toast and cereal for guests. Very comfy cosy room with an en suite, T.V, fridge, kettle with tea & coffee. The room is also very well heated. Nice man on reception. Very pleasant and calm atmosphere.

Room was very hot but otherwise fine. When we woke up we found something had chewed through packaging of food and eaten some of it which was disgusting. There's WiFi though and a bathroom both in the room and a shared one in the hallway

Charging £112 for a Saturday night is OK if your venue is of that standard. Clift House is definitely not at the £112 standard. The one star is for courtesy. We walked away even though we'd already paid. It was cheaper to stay in a 4* hotel outside the city, at least there I had value for money.

I stayed here with my complete family. The guys at the hostel were super friendly, ready to help and it was clean, economic and we even had eggs for breakfast. Reading the last reviews, I don't understand how we are talking about the same place. Our experience was very good here. I highly recommend it if you are looking for economic, clean and good quality accomodation.

Room was adequate and good value. Even if the owner did linger a tad to long once he showed us the room.
