My husband and I spent an amazing week here while we helped our daughter move into her flat and get ready to attend Uni. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and helpful. In particular, Daniel, at the front desk, went out of his way to help us with a last minute check-in. We had had a particularly difficult day, having planned to stay at a Airbnb property that was a complete disaster on our arrival. Daniel welcomed us cheerfully and helped us to settle seamlessly as he provided us a complimentary room upgrade and drinks. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to visit our daughter!
Very disappointed in this hotel and Acur and how they have felt with my thief from my room. I left a very expensive glasses in my room and checked out. I called them up explaining that I woke up and had put my contact lenses in before leaving and placing my glasses on the side in the bathroom. I did not pack them and closed the door behind me and checked out. When calling them I was shocked to discover that they had not been handed in and they could not find them. To this day I have not heard anything back and they have not been over bothered about the situation. Disgusted. be warned when staying here and leaving valuables in your room.Following from your message you just sent. If you have read my message I noted that I left my glasses in my room with the door shutting locked behind me. So this isn’t a lost property moment this is a thief from my room. I am shocked in your reply.
I just cannot understand why people would give this hotel a bad review!nI was a bit sceptical because of some of the poor comments on trip advisor, but I think some people just enjoy giving low ratings. It’s an absolutely lovely hotel with clean rooms and a modern bathroom. The staff were so amazing and helpful! Shout out to Anthony, he was brilliant and gave have us some fantastic recommendations, and it’s a perfect location for all the local amenities. Definitely 5 * from me.
Stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday this weekend and reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive but the hotel stunned me as soon as I turned up outside. It’s got the older look from the outside but the perfect modern twist inside! The corridors to the room were stunning and the room was extremely spacious. The dark green paint does make it seem dull but worked very well with the decor of the room!nConsidering where you are located we had an extremely great nights sleep with both windows open we heard no street noise at all!!nThe receptionist Michael on Friday night 31st May was incredibly helpful and friendly! Due to the size of the compact room we booked for our friend he upgraded him to a much bigger room for £40 which was amazing! He welcomed us with a nice friendly smile and great hospitality and customer service.nWe will definitely 100% be returning when we want a child free and relaxing weekend or night away
I cant really fault this place. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. Honestly a smile goes such a long way. The bed was large and comfortable. The pillows swallowed my head whole - exactly how I like it! The bathroom was clean. The resturants food was quite nice. Location isn't too bad. The only fault I'd mention is the doors are quite heavy when closing, if you let it fall - so if your trying to have a lay in while other guests are going out for breakfast, you may have a problem. To add location wise, for someone who doesn't know the area, I thought it was a pretty good tucked away spot close to the city centre
