Nice hotel and quick, albeit slightly chilly check in. Getting to the room was a bit of a maze filled with trash bags along the hall that stayed the entire duration of my stay.nnThe room itself was nice and modern.nAbsolutely freezing though. I don’t think the climate control was working at all? I had it all the way up. One very small heater was all that I had and that did absolutely nothing.nnThe bathroom was quite unclean when I went in to look. I asked if it could be cleaned and I have to say this was done straight away after only a little back and forth. I was told the manager was on dinner break and my room had been ‘cleared’ ; but after insisting it was not a good standard and showing pictures, the gentleman did some texting and assured me it would be sorted. On going back to the room it had been done within the hour I was in the restaurant.nnComfortable bed and basic amenities which were appropriate for a short stay.nnThe staff in the restaurant were really lovely and attentive. Fantastic food and a good selection of alcohol free drinks.
Me and my girlfriend have come to this place for her birthday celebrations. I put in a funny request of asking the Hotel staff if they could print out pictures of dinosaurs and put them on the bed as that are her favourite animals. If you don’t ask you don’t get they say. This time I asked and I got it. We were both pleasantly surprised with the way it was decorated, the attention of detail that has gone into it and most importantly how happy my girlfriend was at the end of it all. I couldn’t be more happy with the room, have never had an experience like this. Stayed here for 2 nights and loved every moment of it. Highly recommend! Thanks to the team, they are flawless.
Spacious room with some fab Bristol artwork. Easy online check in. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean and bright with a good hairdryer and a nice selection of teas and coffees. Nice hot shower and plenty of towels. The little with on heater was a nice bonus as it’s been so cold. All that dropped the star was the attitude of neighbouring guests banging doors and talking and laughing after midnight.nConsidering the central location this hotel is very good value for money and is quiet
The hotel aesthetically is lovely and a great design. Staff were all really nice and helpful.nWe’ve stayed here twice now and both times we’ve struggled to sleep due to the thinness of the walls and either noise from the venue below or people next door.nThe mattress is really uncomfortable too, really hard plus can feel the springs. Both me and my partner had pain in our shoulders and back for two days after.nIt’s a shame as the hotel is a great location and looks cool.nWe won’t be booking again due to lack of sleep.
I think this may be the only hotel in Bristol I'll stay in now! Beautifully decorated, super friendly and smiley staff who immediately stopped conversation with co-workers the minute we appeared which made us feel special! The room is big, the shower and bath too! The water pressure on the main shower wasn't great but the hand held one was fantastic. We had a plug malfunction, thought we were just being stupid but reception were fantastic in making sure we didn't feel silly & immediately sent maintenance up and less than half an hour later we had a new plug for the bath! We didn't have enough pillows but they were more than happy to accommodate and send more but that's personal preference, you get your standard 2 pillows per person. Now, the breakfast...yes, it's your standard buffet BUT they have so many gluten free & dairy free/vegan options which was wonderful for my friend, instead of sticking to just fruit she could have a lot...including coffee with plant based milk!!! We were really really impressed & 100% recommend staying here - plus the streets outside are quiet so that's a bonus!
