Very warm welcome on arrival, extremely well set out in all areas , plenty of seating. Excellent service and great food. Spotlessly clean. Highly recommend you do not drive passed!! Super!!

We booked the snug for a Christmas meal with a gang of friends. Worked brilliantly for us and was a lovely space for us to sit and not be disturbed or disturb others. Beautifully decorated for Xmas and the food was great. They forgot to take our deposits off the final bill at the bar but sorted the error really quickly with no fuss. We'd definitely book the same space again.

We had a lovely meal, and managed to hire out a private room as there were 8 adults and 5 kids. However the food was quite slow and there was no way to have any music playing - they had a small speaker but it was broken and no alternative was offered. The food was actually decent, for pub grub.

Excellent meal of the day using fresh and locally sourced food. Very comfortable and staff brilliant

Great place to eat with a gastro pub menu. Variety of seating options from informal pub tables, to restaurant and conservatory. Good for groups with a large room, 'the dungeon', that can be reserved. Lots of outside seating for summer, though no play facilities for children. Wider selection of draught beer offerings now, previously 1 or 2 but good options, plus craft bottled beers. Maybe more cider options in future?
