We were staying at a holiday park round the corner and chose this pub due to convenience and the amount of 5* reviews. Everything was amazing. The food was excellent, the portion sizes were good and the service was very quick. The sticky chicken starter was very good. I'm glad I brought our group here and they all appreciated it. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely pub with fantastic food. We were staying close by and phoned on the off-chance they had space that evening. We were happy to sit outside as we had our dog with us and we were fitted in. When we arrived they had sorted the table outside in advance with cutlery and an umbrella up. Service was excellent and the food was unbelievable!! Clearly home cooked, freshly prepared and large portions. Had the chicken and Ham pie, Steak and Ale pie, Fish and Chips and Gammon. For dessert we had Sticky Toffee pudding and Mars Bar Cheesecake the days special. Would recommend all the food, but special mentions for the 'full to bursting pies' and both the desserts. Would definitely go back when we visit the Lake District again.
Friendly staff with beautiful only downside was the long wait. Dog friendly which is always great and they even have a house dog who is the main attraction. Nice place for a family meal. defiantly recommend the beef burger and the katsu curry. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options Parking: Small car park
We stopped for dinner on the way back from a break in Scotland. I had a pie from the specials board, my wife had Steak and Ale pie and my daughter had a kids Lasagne. The pies were the best we have had, absolutely beautiful, full of perfectly cooked and flavoured meat filling. Lovely atmosphere and decor, would definitely recommend, even if it means a detour
We ate lunch there as part of an Odysseys Unlimited tour on 17/6/22, and lunch was fantastic! Great atmosphere, attentive service, and scrumptious food. Would love to come back on my own. So stop by if you’re in the neighborhood!
We had a big party booking for a birthday meal on 30th Dec 2022. The staff were amazing, the food and service were fabulous! They really couldn't of done enough for us, a little selection box for the kids was a kind ,lovely touch!! I can't recommend this pub enough!!Food: 5/5
Food is unexpectedly excellent. Ambiance is great. Having had mediocre food at Centre Pacts for a couple of days, we finally found this little gem for our family. Really recommend.
Fantastic meal, amazing service and lovely friendly atmosphere. The starters were so tasty - garlic mushroom crostini and the black pudding stack was Michelin quality. Main courses - well, the chicken, ham and leek pie was the best we've ever tasted and we are from Wigan. Big shout out to Neil, Alex and all the staff for making us so welcome- we'll be back.
Food at Clickham Inn has a reputation for being good and I didn’t think it could get better but OMG Sunday lunch today was exceptional, absolutely the best roast dinner I have EVER had. Well done to the whole team x
A lovely pub on the north side of the lake District. Fantastic value for money so if you order 3 courses bring your eating trousers! Really nice welcoming atmosphere and you can see the owners have put a lot of love into the place. Pictures below of black pudding stack sorry couldn't resist taking a bite chicken Caesar, chicken pie and a lovely creme brulee!
