Went in to Clarks today to get my son measured for his first shoes. All the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Just simple things like finding somewhere safe i could leave the buggy. It felt like nothing was to much trouble. I was so impressed with the lady who did my sons measurements. Tony talked him through everything she was doing and made us both feel very comfortable. She had great knowledge and helped me make the right decision in shoe for him. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
We have been buying clarks school shoes for my children since 10 years now. with our recent school shoes purchase for my son who is 4 yrs old for 50£ , the shoes sole came apart in 4 months time. When I asked for an exchange, the lady in ground floor first asked me to get my son saying they have to measure his feet as kids feet may grow up every 3 months. If his feet size increases they wont do anything. If not, there might be a chance. The lady was not humble and I felt like they were trying to get rid of the task. I took my son to the store the following weekend, his feet size has not increased at all. Still they said they cannot exchange as it's been 4 months. They may consider if it's 2 months. The staff member also said if they exchange for us they have to do this to other customers. May be they dont want to cultivate good will behavior may be to their customers. That's what I felt. Also, the lady was rude and didn't respond better when I said" I understand their point , however, 50£ spent on a 4 yr old shoes should have some value." I atleast expected they would try to repair it with glue or something. They did nothing and just declined helping us and all the staff I saw were not at all bothered... Not the manager not even the other ladies. If such a well known brand for footwear doesn't consider about customer's satisfactions, there is no use of buying shoes that are so expensive. Better to try in other brands like next or m&s etc.
My daughter and I visited today to get her feet measured and it was a great experience. Both the trainee and the lady training her were exceptional and very thorough in making sure my daughter had perfect fitting shoes. I will definitely visit again.
Have visited more than once over the school holidays to be measured with the intention of buying. Each sales assistant gave a different sizing not in line with growth! 26/8/22, we were served by a young curly haired girl who not only incorrectly measured my child's feet feet were visibly not flat but had no sensitivity in dealing with children as well as a disgusting attitude when I didn't make a purchase this time due to availability of desired item. RETHINK YOUR 'SEASONAL STAFF' PLEASE!

Staff never seem very friendly, it kinda feels like you are bothering them. Shoes are what you would expect though.
Friendly and and helpful staff. Good quality shoes. Fair selection. Don't mis the seasonal sales where what you get for a discount may really be worth your visit! I did have an extremely bad experience with a pair of formal shoes; the particular one giving me an un bearable shoe cut. Funnily, the same in tan of the same size suited just fine! I am thankful to the staff for being attentive to my issues and rectifying it accordingly.
Always book a fitting for my kids. Staff fabulous and not too pushy for a sale. V tolerant of children who don't want to be there! Always get my sandals and boots from here too. So comfy, look great and don't need wearing in. Worth the spend. Kids school shoes usually last all year. Tried cheaper but it's false economy as they don't last
Expensive stuff but quality on all levels. Specially the superb quality memory foam ones are the best of the best but again it’s all about quality and the price. Recommended for athletes and yes, if you have issues with your feet. I believe they have experts that guide you to best and suggest a valuable product.
Impressive service. Warm, friendly, reassuring and professional staff who knew what They were doing. They're big on quality assurance too and that's impressive. They seem to place much value on training and mentoring and this was clear when the staff were busy serving us and our kids. Good quality products but need more variety for the kids.
