Visited here for a new years eve party. Staff are great.venue is beautiful but the event was odd because areas are quite separated. The bar area, the seating area, the separate room for dancing. Felt like 3 different parties. Very upsetting seeing the poor homeless people sitting on the pavement outside. It was so very cold and although we gave one poor lady some money to get some warm Food, there were many others that could have done with help.

I spent a few days in the lovely hotel in Windsor, while working at the theatre Royal. Positives The hotel is directly opposite the castle and next to the shops and central railway station, so positioned perfectly. I stayed in the main building and despite what others claim, there were no noise issues, despite sleeping with window open. Negatives Down sides were, the bath was small and shallow, despite the bathroom being large. The bar staff are incredibly miserable and refused to make me a drink off menu, nothing complicated, I just wanted an old fashioned.

Superb central location and fantastic views over the castle available. We were lucky enough to have balcony view of the changing of the the guard, Well worth seeing. Lovely clean bar.and restaurant.and I strongly recommend you take an afternoon tea whilst you are here.

Location is great but... Beds are horrible and too small. Bathroom is so small you can't even sit at the toilet. Skip the breakfast because it's the worst ever, better have breakfast at starbucks around the corner. It's incredible they ask 10 pounds for the breakfast. It's not even worth 50 pence.

The rooms are quite large and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly but it was loud during the day because the hotel is right on the main road. This is only for the rooms at the front of the hotel looking at the castle though I think. The breakfast selection was good.
