Was here for a business trip and Jake and other assisting staff were more than attentive throughout the entire stay. Voluntarily served coffee/tea while I was working in the lounge, helped answer questions about the area and made me feel like a friend! Was honestly sad to leave and say goodbye to such nice people. It’s the hotel staff that really make a stay a positive one! Rooms were clean and breakfast was good as well as great location to train station.

Rooms very basic. No air con which we then had to ask for a fan which was noisy. Shower had 1 temperature and during a heat wave would have liked a cool one but not possible. Breakfast not worth the money had to ask for eggs mushrooms bread to toast  cutlery cups by the time we had everything it was cold! Will not be staying again. Premier inn just a bit more money but wish we'd booked there now because we had budget hotel at not a budget price.

#15071-1761203. Cancelled my booking on 11th Apr 2022. Promised a refund which has never arrived.  We booked a hotel for a night and received a call from the reception at the hotel when we were already half way through the journey stating that there has been a major leak at the property and they were unable to accommodate us. The lady on the phone also stated that she tried to accommodate me elsewhere but couldn't as there weren't any alternatives available. She also advised me that the hotel would process a refund and I will get my money back.  I have since chased them a number of times and have been promised every time that I will get the refund back but It has never been processed. I have also contacted customer service who opened up the above case number but did not help as they wanted me to contact the hotel direct.  So today 24-08-2022, I phoned again to chase the hotel who were not picking up the phone so spoke to customer service who could not help again but advised that the booking on their system actually went down as a "no show" which is ridiculous and a complete fraud.  I have informed them that I need my money back asap or I'll go to the hotel and settle it there and then. Also advised that I will take legal action if I don't receive my money back.

At the time of writing, this hotel is currently being refurbished. The smell of fresh paint wafted through the corridor when we came down for breakfast the next morning.  Also, the only hotel parking we could find was all disabled. If you don't need one of those spaces, you have to go to a nearby multistorey car park and pay a special discounted rate of £3 for the whole day.  Our room looked like it had been decorated not too long ago. The carpet even still had some spring in it.  We had arrived at this hotel during a heatwave, and after asking at reception we received a fan in no time, which made a huge difference. The bed was well made and really comfortable. The staff were also all smiles and more than happy to make our stay as comfortable as possible.  This hotel is a short walk to the high street and the nearby cinema.

The rooms and breakfast are great. Comfortable bed and good amenities. It's just noisy being by the bypass and the train station. They have internal rooms if you want more quietRooms: 5/5

Family room 105 was very noisy. It appeared to have no sound proofing at all from the street noise. The shower wasn't warm, there was one light not working in the bathroom. The headboard was dusty with hair strands stuck to it. We didn't sleep much and had a family funeral the next day. It was disappointing and £91 for a Wednesday night.

Handy for train station but Maidenhead is a building site and they start at 6. Shower drain was  very slow room was clean but needed attention.Rooms: 3/5

Well situated but the Room was extremely basic with little amenities. Had a room booked or one person but room was just 2 single beds separately made? Appreciate the hotel is close to the road but room was very loud, that coupled with no air conditioning made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast didn’t look appealing, ended up just having a croissant & apple juice. Don’t think I’ll go back any time soon!

Location is good; opposite the Maidenhead train station. and within walking distance to town centre for access to shopping and restaurants.  Rooms are small but are clean and modern.  Staff are very helpful, particularly Damian who was very helpful during check-in.

The staff here are so attentive and efficient, it really surpassed our expectations for a travelodge. They were more than happy to get us veggie sausages at breakfast and were friendly at all hours of the dayRooms: 4/5
