Clean airy space, friendly staff. comfortable seats .parking close. Reason for loss of star: I am disabled with mobility issues. The only seats available to me were in the first/ second row - right close to the screen. Other cinemas in the area - Hatfield and Welwyn - have their disabled access seats at the rear of the cinema.
In need of a physio appointment after enduring 3 hours of that horrific heat and back breaking chair. Absolutely dire in the lobby, sweets are just cheap quality and lucky to find a mixture between the 4 choices you have. Couldn't knock the staff but I've honestly come out of there with PTSD, never stepping foot in there again. Put me right off the cinema now
Always a great place to go with family, friendly staff, boosters for my little ones if there is someone taller in front. Love the kids boxes with popcorn, a drink and chocolate stars.
Went to see titanic 4dx on Sunday traveled 60 mile round trip to be told it’s been cancelled no email received or correspondence to let us know. STILL NO REFUND RECEIVED FOR TICKETS EITHER, have emailed them still with no joy absolute waste of time and money!!!!
Nice cinema, shiny and clean and pleasant staff. Slow service for food and drink was only thing to let it down so ensure you have some time before your film starts.
Not a great experience. Screen 4 has a blue spot which is really annoying and also screen quality was awful very blurry and the frames were not smooth at all got a headache by the end of the film. I told a staff member that there is a blue spot on the screen and he replied with “it’s been like that for years” will not be visiting again.
Very nice IMAX screen but the steeping of the seats could be better to ensure a 6ft+ tall person does not interrupt the view of the person sat behind.
Clean and tidy, lovely comfy seats, and it's great that you can bring your own snacks in now instead of getting ripped off by the cinemas prices
The 4DX here is amazing. I'm not sure if it's because the screen is smaller than most 4DX screens I've gone too but the smaller the better. I actually want to get dashed around and this one does it for me 1000000%. Some of the other screens are quite small but good quality and the seats are super comfortable. Let's just hope the staff remember to keep them that way. Some seats were dirty but not like the cinema seats in London. Keep up the good work Cineworld Stevenage remember the seats
One of the first Cineworld Cinemas in the UK to have a screen/auditorium to be equipped with 4DX / 3D! This is a fantastic but somewhat expensive feature. It really brings the film to life, with moving seats, strobe lights, scent, wind and even water. I definitely recommend trying this out for one movie at least, just for the experience alone, but pick the movie carefully. This motion/effects work for most films but I did watch one where the 4DX did not complement it at all! Enjoy the ride.
