Charles House, a fabulous 4 star Guest House in Windsor, Berkshire is only a 5 minute walk from Windsor town centre and Windsor Castle.

Featuring state of the art keypad front door and individual room security, meaning no longer having to deal with keys or room tags. Unexpected delay, no problem, complete freedom to come and go using your issued personal PIN.

Each room has ensuite facilities offering either King size, twin or super Kingsize beds.

Every room has a fridge complete with ice box, for your personal convenience, along with tea and coffee making facilities there is also a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board and an radio alarm clock with IPhone/IPod docking facilities. All our rooms offer complimentary WiFi and Freeview flat screen TV.

Windsor Town Centre has many places offering breakfast, but for your convenience we offer a continental breakfast ready prepared in the fridge, which you take in the privacy of your own room at a time to suit you, just tick the box when booking.

What an amaizing place. The contact is so nice and helpful. I didn't know where I was going and they sent me the station I was to take. The location to the town is perfect. I will definitely book here again next time I am in London.
The location of the Charles House Hotel could not have been better for us. It is within walking distance of Windsor Castle, The Long Walk and the Windsor City Centre. The room itself was lovely; however, it was a bit warm and and humid. Communication and access to our room was very easy and the owner was quick to respond to questions we had.
Great guest house that is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Windsor. Entry to the guest house and to the room was via the same pin code I was given, which was very handy. The room we had Henry was large and well equipped with en-suite, hair dryer, Iron, kettle, fridge, table and chairs for eating at. They don't offer breakfast at the guest house but supply bowls, plates, cutlery etc, there is a CO-OP and majestic wines straight facing the guest house. We didn't know this before visiting, but it is very handy for buying breakfast items etc. Parking is pay and display just round the corner on Alma Road. Turn off Arthur Street onto Alma Road and then first right onto the pay and display parking. We missed the turning as its badly sign posted and ended up parking on the carpark further up Alma Road. Parking is free between 9pm and 9am. You then have to pay in advance for as many hours as you think you may need. Walkability: Very close walk to Windsor Centre
Have mixed feelings about this guest house. Location is good for Castle, Station and restaurants. It is in a back street so better to be a couple rather than single person if walking back late at night. I missed the personal welcome after a long journey here. Was informed of that before we came but I realise now that the push button entry is not for me. Even a welcome text or something would have been nice. The room was clean, linen was clean but kettle needs changing . Had to use toilet paper to dry up the bowls and cutlery each day as there was no tea towel and did not want to use one of our hand towels as felt this was unhygienic. After our first day here we had to buy tea and coffee as there was no more sachets to use for a 3 night stay we could have been left more. The fridge is a great idea so a small pint of fresh milk would have been lovely rather then long life sachets. As for Windsor it is a wonderful place to spend a few days. Plenty to do and see and would not hesitate to come back again. Would highly recommend the 2 hour boat trip it was lovely and the Castle is amazing and the staff so helpful and friendly.
We stayed in a VERY large, ground floor, well equipped room. It was close to a car park and the town centre. The only things that some may not like are that there's a little traffic noise and the bed was very firm. Overall, an excellent choice.
Great location. Easy walk to town and 15 min walk to the racecourse. Guest house was easy to find, lovely room and self check in was simple and smooth. Car park just around the corner in Alma Road. Expensive to park overnight but probably cheaper than taxi as we were going to the racecourse. There may be cheaper parking but we didn't have time to check. Would stay here again.
Great value for a price, was very comfortable, ensuite rooms with large bed. We were allowed to leave our bags before check in and after check out which was really kind and let us enjoy Windsor longer.
Stayed in the 'Victoria' room which was a lot larger than the pictures show. The decked courtyard was very nice you could have the door open instead of the window which was situated by the road. We were very impressed with the pin entry, we didn't have to worry about remembering the keys etc. Very well presented, plenty of supplies in the fridge along with tea,coffee etc. We were sorry it was for just one night, we would definitely stay for longer next time.

Lovely little guest house. Rooms are clean and pleasant. Bathroom on the small side. The code entry is really good as well. Walking distance from.the town centre
