I ended up staying here during their renovation. I imagine the hotel is very pretty and convenient when not being in construction. I absolutely appreciated the fact that they put their guests far away from the on-going work. We never heard a peep of construction.nnThe location is so close to everything and worth that in the price itself. The room was lovely, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
While I was initially very disappointed that The Castle had not made it clear that the hotel was undergoing a significant renovation, the hotel more than made it right. In addition, I was very impressed by how the hotel had pivoted to handle check in and breakfast and I worked in hospitality for many years. The staff were wonderful, the rooms are great we stayed in the newer portion and the location is exceptional. I would book again!
The Castle Hotel was our wedding venue and they did not disappoint, the entire event team especially Calum & Leanne, did a phenomenal job of ensuring our special day was planned to perfection and ran as smoothly as possible on the day. The entire staff were brilliant, friendly and went above and beyond for us and our guests.nFinally, a very big shout out to Andy, of whom our guests all adored! He is an absolute credit to The Castle Hotel.nnThank you for making our wedding magical.
We came here for christmas. We felt at home in a second. Especially the staff was absolutly lovely. They took very much care of us. The room had plenty of little christmas surprises, especially one for our daughter. She didnt want to leave the room anymore. We even had a small christmas tree. Would highly recommend it to everyone.
A wonderful visit! We couldn’t fault this hotel for location, service, comfort and value. The hotel itself self is at the centre of Windsor, and everything is walkable. Reception was ever so accommodating, handling our requests and the service interactions throughout of stay were highly professional and warm. We were travelling with two children, who were made to feel incredibly welcome with colouring and balloons, the interconnecting rooms were the perfect size and arrangement, offering great comfort. A great stay, thank you!
