One of the older Metro Stations in London. It owns a lifts and stairs.
Historic station with a frequent service to central London and Heathrow. And practical too- the station dates from 1906 and was built with lifts straight to the platforms, meaning it's totally step free and has been for 113 years. Handy!
On the evening of February 16 at 20:20, I found myself in the unfortunate position of feeling sorry for the officer in the booth. Our card had not gone through, and naturally, we turned to him for guidance, only to be met with a dismissive shake of the head and an expression of sheer indifference. No attempt to explain, no effort to assist—just a lazy, meaningless gesture as if his sole duty was to occupy that seat rather than actually help.nnIt’s clear that his presence there serves some purpose beyond fulfilling his responsibilities—though what that might be remains a mystery. Perhaps a simple informative robot would be a better investment; at least it would offer some semblance of efficiency without the added attitude.
A nice underground station with lifts available from the ticket hall to the platforms. This station is served by the Piccadilly line.
Slightly underwhelming, the lift is annoying and its kinda far from my house - also on a bad tube line
