Holloway Road Underground Station is served by the Piccadilly the station in based on the main busy road which is opposite the university and the also five minutes from the Emirates Stadium. On events day when Arsenal play the station is extremely busy the station entrance is very small and inside the ticket hall area is also small with just six ticket barriers to use. There is lifts available at this station one of which is currently not working. Also there is 62 steps from the ticket hall to the platforms. Its a basic underground station which was clean and tidy.
would like to congratulate the person who came up with the brilliant idea of closing Holloway Road station for an hour and a half right around the end of a football match. Truly outstanding planning.nFor Londoners who know the area by heart, this might not be a big issue. But for someone who travelled 120 miles, being suddenly told to “just find another station” is far from easy. No clear guidance, no proper information, just a closed station and confusion.
Stop nagging me to review it, Google!nIt's a blooming tube station on the Picadilly Line......n.... Not very interesting. However, it has lifts and steps to the platforms, not escalators. There are possible disruptions on Arsenal home match days, so best check with TFL.nThats it.
Crap station, dirty, and.... its outside the Emirates stadium
Trains arrived frequently but the station is filthy like the rest of london underground.
