A nice, remote country park. It is the perfect place if you like some wilderness and alone time as it is not too crowded
Lovely views over the city, well worth a drive up to it. Decent car park but get there early as particularly busy at this time. Walk down the hill to Fernbrae Meadows for some benches and a nice wee circular. Would be lovely for a picnic in the summer.
Great place, great views, a lot of paths. Definitely recommend to visit it at any time. Easily accessible parking however at certain hours you won't find a space and you will have to park on the street.
Great mountain bike trails right next to the city. Fantastic views day and night to boot. Some of the climbs need some drainage work as like a river when wet and they ice up badly in winter.
A great place for a walk, especially with a dog but it's actually a purpose built mountain biking course.
Brilliant for mountain bikers and walkers alike. Woods area great for nature walk plus Mary Queen of Scots Seat with great views of Glasgow skyline. It also commemorates where she watched the battle at Battlefield located near Shawlands.
Lovely, only improvement I could see is if the bike paths and walking paths were a bit more clearly marked so bikers could have their paths and walkers could have their paths..
Lovely walk around the braes. Excellent for dog walkers. Very peaceful and all like minded dog owners very pleasant with well behaved dogs. Doesn't matter how many times you visit...each is a delight. Nice little burns for the dogs to take dips in and vast expanse for them to tank about and explore.
Great place for a bracing winter walk, with a well frequented and not too challenging mountain bike track if you are feeling more adventurous.
Large forrested area to explore. Largely flat and easily accessible from large car park
