Beautiful Southside parkland running alongside the River Cart. Woodlands and paths are clean and tidy. There is an accessible waterfall and lots of grassy areas with benches to rest. It’s peaceful, simple and relaxing. One of the largest and nicest parks in Glasgow and well worth a drive to. Playground: Playground is poorly maintained Restrooms: No restrooms other than local pubs and cafes Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly Picnic area: Lots of areas suitable for picnics but no real proper tables
Beautiful park to walk in with it'd waterfall and White bridge on the River Cart. Not the best day for a visit as after this spell of dreadful, persistent rain, many parts of the park are waterlogged and very muddy. Like nearby Rouken Glen the park is a dogwalkers paradise. The waterfall was in full spate today and was a wonderful sight. Some paths are closed due to landslips, again cos of the heavy rain. Lets hope for some dry weather in May. Dog-friendliness: This is a very dog friendly park with poop bins available.
Linn Park Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall surrounded by beautiful trees . Lovely autumn weather. Scenery was amazing, beautiful and eye catching. We really enjoyed our visit in the nature wonderland. Restrooms: No rest rooms Dog-friendliness: Good place for dog walk.
It was a sunny, winter afternoon & I loved the stroll around the park. The waterfall is a must see if you visit the park. And what's nice is you can choose your walking trail based on your time availability, physical fitness and/ preferences etc. - there's so many trail options to choose from! Dog-friendliness: A very nice place to bring your furry friends for a walk or play date with other dogs!
nice park but there is a fair amount of litter on the trails. Picnic area: the are some open spaces for picnics
Absolutely stunning park! The warm weather made it even better, there is something for everyone and the kids will love the little forest trail and the sand park. If you are lucky you can get to see the horses as well, and the little hills just keep you on an interesting pace!
Great park. Very large park. Would take my dog walking here everyday when I lived in Simshill rd. When I was little I would jog with my dad at 6am before school. Great memories. Beautiful park
This is a fantastic park in the South Side of Glasgow. 5 star for dogs. Trees, grass, water, hills, mud the lot. Great and lovely walks and you can easily walk for an hour before hitting the end of the park. No coffee shops or toilets in the park. Not bad for kids but just missing the real adventure playground it needs. There are a couple of small play areas for young kids. One near the Cathcart end. Second one in the centre next to the horse riding centre. Very scenic through the seasons.
Absolutely stunning park, with a huge amount of green space. Love the waterfall. Plenty of kids were playing in it when I was there last year. We were lucky enough to find a wee fairy trail in the woods too.
Loads of stairs , loads! If you don’t enjoy waking up and down the stairs avoid this place
