Worst University ever. I studied masters from this university. They do not support their students at all. Very limited number of teachers. There were 2 teachers who were teaching us 2 different subjects in the same year. Their placement and career cell is worst. I have not received any help from them. University is scattered and do not have a dedicated campus. It seems to be a bunch of college buildings and everything goes from between. There is little to no diversity. Majorly dominated by two or three country students. University overall provides literally no help to students when they need one. They are just a money making machine. On the contrary, I have studied from another university in the UK. I don't want to take the name because then you might think I am promoting that university. But in short, that university was comparatively good. Although they also lacked good career support, but still atleast they tried to help. For international students, I would say, with change in all the immigration rules and shitty universities, do all the research before going to the UK for higher studies.
Great university, with nice facilities and a good library. The lecture halls are well lit and spacious. Lecturers clearly know their stuff and present cogent, logically structured lectures.
*PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT* If you are planning to study here at DMEM, please reconsider. The programme is really not that useful, they just give you tasks and assignments and don't teach you any valuable skills. Every year I paid £23,000 and got little in return in terms of a valuable education. The university is solely focused on making money; there is no real teaching of what is being taught. Nothing in the way of actual practice; everything is theory, just the theory that you should learn on your own from youtube. Rather than actually teaching you anything, they can merely assign you tasks. After speaking to the local Scottish students here, they felt the same way about the course but they had no other option. I wanted to leave through third year but because of my student visa I had to just continue on. That's when I felt trapped and depressed as I was tied to this Tier 4 visa and had to finish it or else I wont get another opportunity like this again. After 3 years of this programme, this is what I have gained: - £60,000 in debt - Being trained to handle high workload and meet tight deadlines - Retain Information temporarily for exams That's it... I felt more like an employee rather than a student. Strathclyde is not worth the time or money you will spend there; I am quite certain you will feel the same way I did.
Excellebt place to learn and get Masters, PG diploma , and international collabration. People help to internation students and there are many courses to learn and there consultancies such edelweiss help in getting placement.
I came in here to study when I lived in Glasgow and I thought this was a nice place to study, there's space for everyone and I liked that the library had plenty of power outlets so I could charge my laptop. I liked that they had good opening hours and they were great with letting me stay late to finish off my assignments
Amazing TEDx conference is organized in this university every year with speakers coming from all over the world to share inspirational ideas and innovative solutions for global challenges. Highly recommended to attend both the event and the university!
I don’t recommend to anyone wanting to study design DMEM Department. Computer Lab with PC from 2007, lecturers do not care too much, program very boring and not useful. Met nice people, that’s the only good point.
Hi, I was considering this Uni for MBA but I recently came to know this Uni doesn't refund the deposit. My friend couldn't get her loan sanctioned but she paid deposit and she has been requesting for a refund but they are asking her to provide a Visa refusal. How can they ask a student to do this! I will never think about this Uni..Not at all suggested people
I love this University & highly recommend to those seeking to do their Masters in Business Administration. Indeed they live up to their iconic statement "A place of useful learning".
very dissapointed. bad services. be treated differently Received a different attitude compared to the previous person Kindly hire enthusiastic part-timers to share information about your university at the next exhibition instead of staff with 'tinted glasses'
