We traveled from Canada and, on our last night in beautiful Scotland, we went to a Hozier concert at Glasgow Green. Every single staff member and every concession stand servers were amazing! So friendly and helpful. The arena itself was lovely. So clean and I like that there are different areas so you could choose how close you wanted to get to the main stage. We preferred to sit on the large grassy hill just outside of the standing room only main area. Loved the concert and the venue!
It is a lovely, expansive park in the heart of Glasgow. It’s a great spot for relaxing, picnicking, or enjoying a stroll. The park features beautiful green spaces, historic monuments, and walking paths, making it a pleasant escape from the city hustle.
Best place to visit with friends and family. Nice view of river , and old bridge.
We try and come on the 2nd Sunday of the month to meet up with other bull terrier owners for a walk around the park. The dogs love it, beautiful surroundings and a nice walk along the river. There is also the enclosed dog park to let the dogs off the lead. Playground: Good playground for the children with all sorts of bits and bobs for them. Always busy. Dog-friendliness: Great enclosed play area for the dogs Picnic area: Loads of nice areas to sit and picnic.
Best place to be in the heart of the city centre which is as live as a beehive. If you're lucky and you're around the city in summer then you can get so many festivals there. The best part of this place is it's really green and there is the Clyde river which flows beside the park .
Not a bad place to go for a stroll. It's big and feels far off the city centre despite it being close to it.
It is a large park, beautiful and full of landscapes perfect for photos. I believe that on hot days it is also possible to stay on the grass and have a picnic. I recommend the visit and a walk without haste.
It was a beautiful day so quiet and peaceful,a bit disappointed as the Peoples Palace was closed for refurbishment but still enjoyed our stroll through the park.
Went there for the Scottish half marathon. Weather stayed dry. Well organised and a great day out. Plenty of facilities
Great open space, used the swing park with granddaughter on a visit to the city. All the toys for kids well maintained rained and clean. The area very clean also even though part of the open park area. We had a small wander around the park but only had a little time. Very happy with the area and amenities, Playground: Everything working, and area kept very clean. Gate swings closed so kids can't 'escape' easily!
