We went there just for sunday roast dinner at 4pm. We did not book a table, but they could give us one. Food was good, meats were a bit overcooked - dry and crunchy on the outside, but otherwise were really good and huge amount vegies too. Service could be much better, two of the young girls were nice and friendly, but the other two behind the bar was not so friendly and nice. The other problem was, if we don't go to the bar to tell them that we are ready to order drink and food i don't know how long we had to wait for someone to come. We have been there before, food was really good that time but the service was same and made us a bit disappointed. Overall it is a good place.
Just had our yearly Kendal trip, and everyone loved the golf coarse, emaculate in every way, greens were fantastic, staff great, keep up the great work, we will be back.
Went to carus green this weekend 1st time 6 of us from start to finish it got better as the hrs went on the house we had the course the food everything was 100% from the beginning definitely worth a visit people.. from booking it to getting there was plain sailing with the massive thanks to shelley was so easy no stress or drama could thank her enough many thanks guys
Used to travel and play in their open competitions all the time. Haven't been back since the price increase, the difference between members and visitors playing in the same competition is madness. The only club I have ever seen doing it. Members are £15 and visitors £38, don't mind paying a bit extra but everyone is playing for the same prize. Disappointing!
£38 for an open. More fool those paying it. Not a bad course but pretty boring!
