Great service, Amazing people running the pub.. and the food was brilliant and cost is reasonable. Would love to go there again, best pub around Kendal. Highly recommended..

Went here on a whim without any expectations, food was fresh, piping hot and the staff were friendly, would visit again without a second thought.

Nice enough pub but very cold no heating on or fire lit on a cold Friday end of October, we think on the few occasions we have visited that this friendly pub needs to up their game to highlight this lovely building!! Food is just okay and no ales for some reason tonight! Shame to see this go downhill.
