This is an amazing place!!! The food is good, they have the best pizzas I've ever had in England!! Really, really good!! The pub itself is very cosy and they even have loads of old popular board games to play. But the best thing in the Carpenters Arms is the service, without any doubt!! They are so friendly and always have a smile in their face. Maria is really nice and very kind. I would definitely recommend it!!
Often use the this place & always recommend to friends & family. Staff are helpful,friendly & always welcoming,nothing is too much trouble. Pizza’s are amazingly tasty & always a good atmosphere. Would recommend booking a table in advance if your eating though as can get extremely busy in the week.

Really quirky interior... great vibe the minute you walk in! Had the most amazing GF Pizza ever... had to box half up and take it home as it was soooooo filling. Staff were friendly and helpful. A real gem....and the best bit? I've moved in just up the road !
Have been a few times recently, Monday night pizza with family plus a couple of nights out with work mates and can only praise how amazing it is. The food, the beer and the service have always been fantastic. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Thanks

Ok place, and not bad pizza, but my Italian friends said that the pizza was bad. Also the pesto in the second pizza... from a tube and not dululistributed properly, see image, looks like a small poo
Used to be my go-to-place, every week, especially on Mondays with the pizza offer. Unfortunately from late Spring/Summer, it seems that the quality has been decreasing for pizzas... It's just not the same. Last time I went was at the end of August, and I ordered the mac and cheese with extra mushrooms which used to be the best mac and cheese I ever had!!. However, not sure what happened, and if they did not have the ingredients that night or if the recipe has changed, but the pasta that used to be in the best rich and creamy sauce were now super dry, with no flavour. Super disappointed and hope that the quality will be back.
We went for a couple of drinks and dinner last Thursday, early evening. We had booked ahead as we wanted to bring our dog and kind staff kept us the perfect table with lots of room around it. The pizzas were delicious! I could relax as I knew no-one would be tripping over my dog and we really enjoyed the atmopshere and the evening - thank you!
Customer service lacking when the bar was quiet. A conversation about a shift evidently more important than acknowledging someone waiting at the bar. Sorry guys, if you're charging £5.70 for a pint of your own brewery's keg pale, your team needs to sort out it's steps of service. Used to like this place but prices have gone up and service has gone down. Bartender just collected a boxed pizza walking across the floor whilst on his phone. So slack, not even half an eye on the job. Beer was nice though, and pizza kitchen smelled good. Shan't be back any time soon though ‍
