Very friendly pub, made welcome by locals and staff alike. Extensive menu and lots of dining space inside, as well as places to eat outside. They were getting ready for Halloween and chatting about decorating windows with different patrons. Free car park at the back.
Lovely pub, friendly staff, and the food is definitely some of the best pub food I've had very tasty and clearly home made.
Nice friendly pub, that welcomed dog. Booked in to have a meal. Pub was busy, but still managed to get served quickly and the food came out quickly. And was really nice. Good selection of pub food. Nothing to fancy. Car park was large but not many spaces due to how people seemed to park. Staff really friendly.
I've been here to eat and drink a few times now. Friendly, clean, good menu... Today's treat... A nice pint.
Busy during our Sunday lunch visit. Glad booked in advance. Staff where polite but rushed off their feet. Warm family feel. Lovely outside area. The food I feel was a little over priced but not as bad as most places £14 for a beef roast, on website advertised at 12. Not sure how much my daughters kid meal was. Menus where not on the table had to go find them and they where on printed paper. So very filthy. If they laminated them and wipes them would be nicer £45.20 for a Turkey roast no veg extra potatos , beef roast and a kids beef roast a cola and a white wine spritzer. Overall wouldn’t mind going back but not in a rush. Happily try other places before coming back.
Massive thank you to the team at The White Horse, there was 22 of us there for dinner last night with many crazy children for an 80th birthday. The service was incredible, so friendly. We can not fault the food, at all. All served well, hot and tasted so good. Complicated things at the end when paying the bill and the bar staff handled us so well. So grateful, it doesn’t go unnoticed and will definitely go again!!
Really great food. The pot pies were delicious and generous. The fish and chips were crisp and huge. everything was made from scratch down to the meringue for the pavlova. Constant flow of customers and a few regulars showed its popularity.
We visited for the first time on a Saturday lunchtime and had a fabulous meal - we chose it as a meeting point with family. Great service even though staff were busy. Lovely, fresh honest pub food at a good price. We'll be back!! livdistance reg
Great family pub that's dog friendly with a large beer garden in the back. Pool table, bar billiards table, and a darts board in a separate room to the main bar area. Very good food, especially the iconic Tower Burger!
Highly recommend this place for breakfast. We rolled up early meet by a very friendly lady. Didn’t start until 10:30 served coffee till the first class breakfast arrived highly recommend. Remember to rock up after 10:30 give them chance to get the oven hot
