On a work thing, you know how it is? Find a pub nearby, pop in enjoy a beer. Beer well kept, plenty of choice, served in branded glassware. Decided to stay for some food. Ordered the hot chicken curry. Prompt service. Excellent presented. And the curry is clearly homemade, tasted fantastic. Good portions and the homemade bhaji was incredible. I'm no expert, but come on, I live near Birmingham and have had many superb curries. Try it, you'll not regret it!
The gentlemen serving behind bar were great. Would like more info on menu if something spicy so can discuss any options before being served the dish. Would be good when esting, if staff checked in, to see if anything else needed. Jug of water and glasses laid out on bar good idea. Location really close to bathroom, maybe not so much?? Small car park to the side, quite small during busier times. Reliant on parking skills of others for easy in and retrieval of car, recommend reverse park, to allow better manoverability and views on way out. Look forward to when can return. We recently had the Brook as catering for my brother's wedding anniversary party and we are so glad that we did. The team at the Brook were great at being flexible to our requirements, cooking dishes specifically requested by my sister-in-law. The food was amazing - as usual it was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and the portion sizes were great. We received a lot of compliments from our guests, so we are very happy that everyone enjoyed their meal. We would use them as party caterer in the future and definitely recommend to anyone looking for food for their event.
Good atmosphere, lovely friendly staff. Good selection of craft beers at reasonable prices. Clean and tidy. Good pub grub. A nice outside space with a patio area party covered. Open garden area and car park. Dog friendly. Will return. Worth a visit.
A good pub to be, polite and friendly staff. It has a nice ambience and also has good food options. I would definitely go again.
Lovely food cooked fresh, good portion size & good value for money. Good service. Friendly staff. Just one minus was that the table was sticky.Food: 5/5
We had the most amazing authentic biryiani here this weekend. Beautiful spice balance and huge portions. Great value at £12.99 with a drink included. Wish I was a local.... I'd be here every week!
Exceptionally great food, and great service, the outdoor serving was a huge plus aswell. Ate here for 3 days straight and couldn't get enough of it. Also free wifi, but would have loved if it reached outside.
This is the friendliest pub I know of. All the staff are cheery, polite and attentive, and the food is excellent, with large portions. The curries in particular, are very good. The Sunday roast choice of beef, pork or chicken is superb with lashes of trimmings. And the prices are very reasonable. A great choice for a meal and/or a drink!
Great beer garden, not much of a atmosphere but I was there early both timesService: 4/5
