Watched Red Velvet at the Cambridge Folk Club here in a small room upstairs. The band were celebrating their 200 gig anniversary. They play their own material which is heartfelt, enjoyable and at times emotional. This was a good night.
Great pub food. Great atmosphere. Price was acceptable. I ordered my food and drink at the bar and it was out in 15 min, although I was dining with myself and around 8pm. Very friendly and efficient staff considering they were 3 for many. Would definitely come back and treat my hind!
Nice atmosphere with the pub food quality you would expect. I really liked the outdoor space at the back and they serve good drinks.
Variety selection of beer, lovely outside area. Only gripe meal took a bit long had to follow up a few times, tables could use of a proper cleaning. But the food is good and a variety of options. Handicap accessible. Got a very nice vibe.
Lovely place to come for a drink, nice staff helpful but food was not so good. Food salty not tasting fresh. Potato mash was not a potato but some reheated glue plaster dry substance, beef was neither good not sure what it was. Even staff said food is made elsewhere, guessing keeping it affordable for people to eat out with creeping cost. Such a pity though . Good luck
It's so close to being a decent boozer but outside of the brief post-work surge it is just a huge barn with five people rattling around it. Edit: even during an Arsenal match there were at most ten people around the TV in an otherwise empty pub. The tone of the manager's response might explain why it's struggling to attract more regular customers.
If I could give ten stars I would! No faults for this pub. Brilliant staff and atmosphere. I came in tonight, after having not been in for a while, and the welcome back from Leah and Chloe was one to remember, as always!
Really enjoyed the Korean bbq chicken strips with a good pint, the atmosphere is very cheerful and warm, been here many times and would go back again. The bartender was also super lovely
Nice cozy pub. Staff is really kind and helpful. Decent choice of drinks, good food for the price.
Pretty average Green King pub. Staff are friendly and food is OK. The inside needs refurbishment, the roof was leaking when we went on a rainy day which lets it down quite a bit. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but it's convenient for a meal that will cater for most dietary requirements.
