Yesterday (12.05.18) I came to VW Canterbury for my booked 11am appointment to test drive an used polo. When we arrived we were told that they were running late and to take a seat in the waiting area. This was fine. At 11:20am, we still had not been seen. A man then told us that the original person we had booked with was too busy to see us. He said he had a 12pm appointment but could fit us in before. This man took down some details and chatted through the car I wanted. I then asked if I could go on a test drive (the reason for the appoinment) and he replied that we couldn't as all the cars had been sold and he didn't have enough time. 

I felt very disappointed with this customer service as I came to the visit knowing I wanted to buy an either 1.0 or 1.2 used polo. I am not going to buy a car I have not test driven. It felt like it didn't matter if I didn't buy a car as someone else would. 

I really wanted this to be an enjoyable experience and I feel VW has failed.

Nothing too much trouble for this great company.  Staff are helpful great service.  AND they have sweets on their desks ☺

Mark Jackson is a great representative for this company. Answered all our questions and more. Tea and coffee is good as well.

Terrible experience with this dealership . Went to test drive a car had booked in a few days in advance. All went well , decided to purchase the car , paid the deposit and signed all the paperwork . 20 minutes later I received a call saying that the car had infact been sold the day previous but had not been updated on the system . Terrible laziness and bad communication . Wasted my time. Attempted to find a solution and was told I would be contacted by the manager in the morning which I was not . I had to chase and phone them . Agree to refund deposits but no compensation . Badly handled , poor communication and all a bit of a farce. Not what I expected from a Volkswagen dealership. Very angry
