"We serve all your favourite Jamaican dishes, oxtail, jerk chicken and our most pleasing dish, boneless curry goat. But do not forget our cocktails which are known to be exceptionally strong. But don't worry if you don't drink; we have fantastic mocktails for non-drinkers."

We had an excellent evening. We went to celebrate Jamaican Independence, however what had been advertised for the event did not materialize and unfortunately the restaurant did not in itself display anything to outwardly celebrate such an important occasion. However, that being said, I can say personally that the meal superceded any meal that I have ever had in a Caribbean restaurant, even without the pomp and ceremony. The presentation of every plate was superb. The staff, all of them were pleasant, engaging, just a real joy. Compliments to everyone that made the dining experience so memorable. Highly recommended
I loved how as soon as we walked in they greeted us and offered to take our jackets which they hang up I feel like that was a great gesture and great customer service. The staff was very friendly which I came to find out it was a family business which I loved as it's always nice to see people grow. The food was very well cooked and it was very well presented. We ordered curry goat and classic jerk chicken with fried plantain and fried dumplings which was good too. Definitely would try it again so I would recommend it to those who would like to have some nice dining caribbean food.
Caribbean fine dining freshly cooked food on the menu and good cocktails. Ok service and ambiance, sweet reggae music in the background. Grand piano played on Saturday's which will resume again for Valentine's. If you drive parking is an issue limited spaces pay and display only. Double yellow lines and prohibited areas in operation. Engaging transport or use cab services would be a better choice.
We didn't book ahead but as we showed up early they let us in first. We really enjoyed the tasty food, friendly service, and Carribbean vibes. The foods presentation was excellent adding to it's visual appeal, and the rum punch was an amazing drink to accompany it all. There is no physical menu at the restaurant, either look it up online or scan the QR code.
If you're on the fence about visiting Ayannas, get off it. You'll walk into an intimate space reminiscent of my now 2nd favourite London restaurant: Sparrow. Ayannas takes the top spot from the quality of this focused menu to the well-balanced cocktails and overall presentation. Flawless guest service, food, and drink. It was a quiet night - we were the first guests to arrive for dinner at 7pm - and the owner took this as an opportunity to get us checked in at a comfortable pace. She was even gracious enough to push back our booking time as we were having delays in transit. We enjoyed the boneless curry goat and braised oxtail with rice & peas, alongside freshly made coleslaw and a rich mac & cheese. Very satisfying meal, both in terms of portion size and taste. We didn't have room for dessert but will definitely return to try the chocolate and rum cakes. All in all, Ayannas menu is a true love letter to Jamaican cuisine - highly recommend.
Amazing food, the best cocktails in town. From the second we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a host who made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere. 11 out of 10 service. They treat you like family when you walk through the door. Money well spent!
Finding this restaurant randomly on Google Maps, my experience at Ayanna’s did not disappoint. From the time I walked in to when I left, the service and experience was great. I was asked about coat check and seated immediately for my reservation. Since it was just me, the hostess and waitress were extremely attentive which I appreciated. In addition to the great service, the food was pretty good. I ordered the callaloo spring rolls for an appetizer and they were about a 7/10. The rolls could have used a tad bit more sauce. The pinã colada I ordered was fantastic and a 9/10. As for my mains, I ordered the brown stew chicken, rice and peas and Mac and cheese. Each was really good and the Mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve had in a while as it’s really hard to find good Mac and cheese in the UK. Main meal altogether was a 8.8/10. For dessert I had the carrot cake and ice cream, but was too full to finish it. But it was still good and I’d give it a 8.5/10 for dessert. Overall, I enjoyed the food, service and the vibe at Ayanna’s and not only would recommend this spot, but I will also be back!
Wow what a restaurant! Its a fantastic Caribbean experience. Food was amazing, service was excellent -if you are ever nearby you must go. I recommend the Reggae Rum cocktail it's delicious reminds me of my rum punch in Barbados but better!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
I love Ayanna's. Real tasty authentic Jamaican food delivered in amazing style. I don't want to belittle Ayanna's by calling it a Caribbean restaurant as the image that generates is no comparison to the reality of Ayanna. I am proud of this a la carte restaurant and the class it stands for. It really is a beautiful gem with outstanding service. I absolutely enjoyed having an intimate wedding anniversary dinner with my husband. We felt at home and the ambience of the place was perfect. I have already spread the word and will continue to make the recommendation for Ayanna's. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
I throughly enjoyed the food, cocktails and ambience of this restaurant. We had the privilege of meeting the two sister's that own Ayannas - one who is the chef and the other is the maître d. One of the best Caribbean restaurant that I have been to in London and a welcome addition to restaurants in East London. I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends.
