Easter Sunday and alls quiet - great service by New owners and their children -made to feel very welcomeService: 4/5
Friendly welcome from host. Room was wonderful and had a lovely weekend away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break
Overpriced and bad quality. 1. Old mouldy crusts behind the bedside table - clearly no or very very poor cleaning. 2. Bathroom light didn’t work. 3. Fire door held open with a wedge, it’s a fire door for a reason, keep it closed!!!!! 4. I could hear the folks in the room next door so clearly I might ad well have joined in their conversations. 5. Bed was very very narrow for a double! 6. No bedside table on one side, just a wardrobe! 7. Over priced for what it is.
What a gem of a place! Dora could not do enough for us and we even had a room upgrade just because it was available. The room was fabulous. Spacious and airy with a comfy bed and lovely bathroom. We ate in the restaurant that evening and had a lovely meal. Breakfast the next morning was also really good. Fantastic, friendly service... we will definitely be back.
We've been coming here from the North West for many years. I fell in love with Dora, the excellent Polish owner after the first visit. We are always made to feel welcome, part of the family and she's an exceptional publican, in my humble. The rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean, quiet and have great mega-sized v comfortable beds. The New Inn serve great "pub grub" and keep some decent beers. The young bar and dining room staff are cheerful, friendly and attentive. What's not to like? Highly recommended and we'll be back for another long weekend stay-cation.
I booked this purely thro a website and I was so glad I did. Very friendly, lovely room and great breakfast. Rural location so very quiet and relaxing. Thank you Dora we will visit again.
I went there for the food. The service was very bad. I ordered Mango Chicken salad and I've been given crusted chicken with a very sweet dressing. The garden furniture was very wobbly and unstable to sit on and the service was slow. The place and the location are lovely though
Dora the owner was so very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. She took the time to tell me about walks which I was interested in and gave me good directions. And.... my meal of the Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne was superb and so incredibly tasty. Compliments to the chef. Definitely highly recommend this place.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Excellent accommodation at a reasonable price. Dinner and breakfast was good. The staff are super friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for our group. Highly recommend if you're are staying in the area.Rooms: 5/5
