Burnt Smokehouse in Leyton served up an unforgettable Beef Smash Burger and brisket that’s easily the best around. The burger is perfectly smashed, with crispy edges and a juicy, tender centre that melts in your mouth, while the fresh toppings and soft brioche bun complete each delicious bite. The smoked brisket is equally impressive—tender, flavourful, and packed with rich, smoky goodness. With friendly staff, a relaxed vibe, for this level of quality, Burnt Smokehouse is a must-visit for burger and brisket lovers alike!
Came on a Friday with some mates and it had a lively atmosphere. It all started with a fairly long queue which very quickly moved along and within about 15 minutes we were surprised that we were able to order. The staff were crucial in moving the line quickly and the front end staff were pleasant. Once at the counter we were recommended to try a few things as seems the norm here so decided to tried the ‘bird’ chicken, beef brisket and fries. Though the beef was nice, it was actually a bit cold and it begs the question, is that a consequence of it being busy and they had to compromise with the prep for some items. It’s unfortunate as it tasted good but at least everything else was warm! The chicken had an interesting and unique flavour and was worth trying for sure. The Smash Burger was quite decent, not bad. It had a warehouse edge to it and has potential if it gets the quality right each time.
The wait is the longest part but it's very worth it. Staff were attentive and approachable, a warm welcome too before you're in. We tried a bit of everything and they all had their own individual flavours, unlike other places where everything sort of tastes the same. They don't do desserts, they have one option. And drinks aren't your usual ones either. The bathroom is, just avoid it, take wet wipes to clean your hands after eating. But other than the bathroom the entire place is an actual vibe. Good music. Lovely family friendly atmosphere. There were people from all walks of life and different age groups too, it was a really nice place to be. The food was delicious and I think it tasted better because of the overall ambience. Would definitely recommend as families, friends, dates and I'd even go on my own again I've uploaded the receipt so you have an idea of what to expect. Enjoy
I left the train station and could instantly smell the bbq and couldn’t wait to get in there! My friend and I ordered most of what was on the menu. I can’t really say what was my favourite as it all was amazing! The lamb ribs instead of pork was a lovely change from traditional bbqs I’ve been to. Brisket was perfection and they did not hold back with the rib meat for the sandwich! Would and have already recommended to friends and family.
This was some of the best food I've had lately. Yeap I'm back @burnt.smokehouse for the 2nd time and this visit was even better than the first!nnNew on the menu is a tomahawk and it was beautifully topped up with their house made chimmichurri. You can see how nice and pink the steak was, didn't disappoint at all.nnMy favorite remains their brisket. Just the best and when you pair it with their house pickles and chilli's with their unique dips, it's just an unbeatable meaty and smokey experience.nnI gotta say their smoked chicken is up there. Texture unlike other chickens I've tried - @tiberius.tudor is a food genius!nnEven their sausages were spectacular. To get that much flavour and juiciness out of it.nnThis is one of the recent spots that overwhelmed me because each and everything was just so good.nnI was expecting a generic dessert and thought £5 for a pear would be silly. Nope. It's special and gotta be tried. I thought it would be too sweet or syrupy but with the custard and marshmallows just something so different. Regret just getting one, I'm definitely not sharing that next time.nnI can see why @burnt.smokehouse is fully packed whenever I go. Whatta spot and meat mastery by @tiberius.tudor
