So happy to have accidentally discovered this restaurant!nnAfter an evening of pottery painting at the ceramics studio across the street, My Neighbours the Dumplings looked very enticing with its Hong-Kong street style decor and it kept getting better from there.nnThe food was excellent, and it’s hard to choose a favourite dish but my top 3 were definitely the vegetable spring rolls, pearl meatballs and the crispy fried prawn wontons. Definitely one of the better dim sums I’ve had in London! There was also good variety in the drinks menu and would recommend trying the cocktails.nnI look forward to going back for more and would also like to mention Ollie who was really lovely and kind!
Cute restaurant, great atmosphere and vibe. The food was excellent and the small portions are a great way to try it all. The alcohol menu was really good, from wine red and white to cocktails and beers. The are in which the restaurant is at, also is quite charming. Overall, a really good dining experience.
My Neighbours The Dumplings provided a great experience for a summer date night, but would be equally suitable for friends or a family meal - all of these groups appeared present.nThe restauarant is bigger than it looks from the street, thanks to a heated garden area in the back, where we were seated. As a party of two, we shared a table with another couple, but a tall table divider between us and the other couple party meant our meal still felt intimate.nService was quick and efficient. We were asked if we had visited before and then recommended a selection dishes, though this didn't account for the fact that we don't eat meat and weren't asked before recommendations were made. By the looks of the menu, a gluten free person could get a good meal here.nThe food was on the better side, though not the best dim sum either of us have had. My partner commented that their veggie dumplings were nice but nothing special. We both enjoyed the fried turnip cake and dessert spring rolls. I also enjoyed the peanut potstickers and all were washed down well with the Riesling. I personally wished the Vietnamese spring rolls had been summer rolls.nBesides wine, there were a range of spritis, cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks on offer.nI'm keen to give MNTD another try, particularly if the menu changes, which I believe it does occasionally.
This place is perfect!!! We travel from the opposite side of London because I think about the pork belly and the mushroom dumplings every single day. The broccoli also deserves a shout out. It has such a lovely, laid-back atmosphere with super friendly and efficient service and gorgeous decor. I think it's really good value for the quality of the dishes. This place would be my death row meal.
Excellent little dumpling place at reasonable prices. Food was exquisite with the crispy pork belly topping the list alongside the prawn and pork siu mai
