I needed to mail Christmas cards today and was nearby on other errands. When I came here I found a well run and modern post office with helpful stuff. They had me in and out pretty quickly with my 30+ cards mailed. Glad for the easy stop!
These ladies were super violent, crazy fast. I got in, I was in like a 20-number wait. I think I waited 10 min and got called. The lady was lightning fast, I was done in a minute or less. Wonderful.
Terrible service. You have to wait ages for someone to consider helping you and once they do, they either can’t find your parcel because they barely look for it or tell you to get a ticket because they’re "overwhelmed" although there’s a specific counter to collect parcels… which take 2 minutes to do.
My BRP UK ID Card was placed in this post office by the home office for some reason and it took 2 month to be redirected to Scotland and still it has not been received the home office promised to arrange that several times and the mail office claimed that no one has claimed that card and they have to return it back, most probably they lost it, knowing that I have been inquiring almost daily and that's impossible, also the funny part, it has no tracking number and you can't even get a tracking number regardless, my employer has been patiently waiting for me to join them and this has effected all my plans, so thanks for putting me though this wonderful experience ,i though everything here would be more civilized and these things would not happen but unfortunately it did, cheers.
They have limited staff member in office plus some bizzar reason for indsutrial action you mean the construction site in front of you which is almost done and cant get you hurt by no means??? and decided to close early without proper justification, i carried a 10kg+ to the office only to find out they took the liberty to not serve the public and then have some happy hours by themselves, hilarious logic. Sweat and anger for the public/customers, chill and freedom for the servants.
My Ukrainian guest gave the cashier £20 to put on her Oyster card. When she used the card, a few days later, she found that the money hadn’t gone on her card. I went to speak to the Manager to explain & ask if he had a discrepancy in his reconciliation on the day she paid the £20. He instantly said they had no discrepancies in their takings that day, without bothering to check. He also said the cashier should have given a receipt, she didn’t. He really just wasn’t really interested. If I were him I would have been quite interested as the alternative is that they have a dishonest member of staff.
It's a big post office that covers all your need in exchange rates and travellers checks to personal insurance and mailing information.
My husband and I were visiting London and were given British pounds by a relative that they had left over from a previous trip of theirs years ago. Apparently, the UK sometimes phases out their coins, and once this happens, the old coins cannot be used and must be traded in to get the updated version of the currency? I’m not sure if I’m doing the situation justice, but either way, the kind staff at this post office helped us exchange our currency after we had told them of our situation. They were so helpful and we very much appreciated the kind assistance! Also, the British humor found on the advertisements here were quite amusing!
I been there today for oyster discount card. When I arrived home realised they wrote just my first and middle name on it but not my last name. So my card invalid and I have to restart the whole procedure, go to the office, request the new form, fill and stamp. Also go and make another 2 new photos I paid £16 for the first pair and go again to a post office to issue the new discount card, after go to a tube station, to reregister to my oyster card. Who will pay my day, my journeys and the new photos? Why the people this very inaccurate everywhere in this country and why they have no any responsibility about their faults and about the loss they caused?? How people can give jobs like this if they can not copy 3 words??
Typical postoffice. I use it quite often and always happy with the service. Try to avoid it during lunch time though
