I took my lease Peugeot 208 in for a health check today at Nptn Riverside Bristol street motors. On dropping off, Elliott and I walked around the car to check for damage. I openly pointed out a small trolley 'ding' in one car door and a scratch to the paint at the edge of the driver's door. He found no other problems and I was not asked to sign anything, nor given a copy of his visual once over. 
On collecting the car six hours later, it had two new scratches to the same door as the trolley ding. I returned immediately to the showroom to advise Elliott and he came out to view the damage with a more senior colleague called Paul. Basically, it was denied the damage was new, there was talk of 'oxide rusting'  at the two new clearly gleaming white scratches, and because they looked to be in a similar line to the 'ding' (but about 12 inches below) I had openly pointed out on drop off, Paul reported being satisfied they had happened at the same time! Unfortunately because I had not photographed the car before drop off my claim they were new and had occurred in the garage was given no credence. I was told I probably hadn't noticed them as the car 'was dirty' but the trolley ding was two years old and the car had been washed many times since - including a full valet just 5 days ago. 
Why I would lie about this damage, when I had openly acknowledged the car door concerned already had other damage on it, was not explained by Paul. 
My advice would be - photograph every inch of your car, get a signed report on drop off - or better yet, find another dealership unless you want to be accused of dishonesty and have to endure the damage to your car and your character.

I was served quickly and with great manner. The sales assistant was new to that dealership but was very experienced, helpful and supported where needed. They were able to locate a car that met my needs very quickly and went well over and above to get me the car VERY quickly due to my needs. 
I loved the service and would highly recommend the branch. 
My car has been running fantastically too!

Buying a car from here was the best idea I had as they were so helpful and gave me excellent service. As I believe they sell such good quality and reliable cars I probably will not need another one for quite a while but when the time comes for me to purchase again I will definitely return to this dealership

Turned up with a vague idea of what I was after and the price range I was looking for. The Sales rep was pleasant and easy to get along with. He was understanding of my requirements and looked to getting me the best deal possible. After we agreed the car, he presented me with a few further optional packages, however did not try to hard sell them and where I said no, he did not then try to change my mind. How refreshing to be treated like an adult capable of being able to make decisions and being respected enough to accept what I wanted. That said, the packages I did go for are great value for money and leaves me feeling like I won't have any issues for the next few years. I know if anything should happen with the car, that I will be able to contact them and will be dealt with in a friendly fashion.

All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend them
