What a gem of a place. Food is interesting, with a twist on French classics in tapas size portions. At a reasonable price too. All French charming waiting staff. Great buzz, super setting, informal and still really quite Gallic. I enjoyed it.

I love this place! The food is really good and is good value. It has a wide selection of choice and is suitable even for vegetarian! And you get 2 big scoops of ice cream for £3 (apple and salted caramel ice cream are excellent) Don't forget to visit the bathroom. There are some interesting decorations - you won't regret it ;)

Love this little French tapas restaurant. I've been here several times in the last few weeks at a variety of times- midday, weekends, and late night. Each time the service was phenomenal, the small plates were perfect for sharing (or to keep to yourself) and their list of wines and cocktails kept the whole group happy. Their decor is eclectic and funky with blankets, fire, and a hodgepodge of furniture outside and a rustic charm inside. Having tried other local tapas restaurants, I can say with confidence that Boro Bistro is the best bang for your buck and consistently has the best service, ambiance, and quality of food. Definitely start with the Boro Board, a generous supply of delicious meats and cheeses. Group food favorites: venison burger, aubergine burger, chorizo croquettes and roasted squash.

Nice seating area outside. Friendly staff. Pets allowed just outside and bowl of water provided :) No main meals in the menu but tasty selection of tapas. Found drinks and wine list bit expensive ... Bottle of prosecco around £35 (the cheapest) and cocktails for £10 each. Still a cool place to try out.
