Story

Our restaurant menu is simple, seasonal and delicious with our daily specials bringing you the best of the previous days catch.

We also serve at the front of the restaurant our infamous fish wraps from 11am - 3pm everyday and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays for a delicious lunch on the go.

In addition to serving food, we operate too as a fishmonger providing the highest quality fresh fish for you to cook at home. Fishmonger opening times are:

Tues - Thurs: 9am til 3pm
Fri: 9am til 6pm
Sat: 9am til 4pm
Sun - Mon: CLOSED

Disclaimer, I am big fan of this restaurant! The good stuff : The mussels - I say no more on that! Nice wine selection! The grilled sea bass was lovely! Lots of flavours, looked really good as you can see, and decent portion! The chorizo and monk fish skewer was also really good - although a tad dryer than I’d have liked it to be! The red cabbage slaw that comes with it is a good combination of texture and flavour! I’ll have that again soon The staff were very nice and I like this restaurant, I keep coming back for more! Lunch at Applebee's - was so busy chatting with friends almost forgot to take photos! Food was very good fish was clearly fresh and butter saucse was devine - had a great octopus starter! Service was great, and staff were very attentive will definitely return!Food: 4/5
None of the food stalls appealed today. So I stumbled upon Applebee's. Had fish and chips here. The tartare sauce was home made and definitely did not disappoint. No mechanical tones to the flavour at all. Someone definitely cared about maintaining the high standards. I'm working class and used to a huge fish and a shovelful of chips. The portion size here is not the jumbo takeaway box, but also shouldn't be. The fish was a good size and tasted great. Superbly flaky and the classic taste of white fish like I remember as a child. The chips again were in an appropriate portion size and cooked to a superb standard. I felt just as full as if I'd had the Friday night chippy experience. The service here has been exemplary and much credit to the excellent staff here. Thank you to the chefs and front of house for a superb dining episode.
Excellent experience and perfect way to celebrate a birthday. We had the cod cheeks, sea bream and tuna, all delicious. Notably the Cacciucco was the tastiest soup I’ve ever had.Well looked after by the whole team. We look forward to returning soon.Food: 5/5
5 of us went to this restaurant for Mother’s Day and we thought the food was amazing. We got 2 luxury seafood platters and it was absolutely delicious. It is a pricey restaurant so the service could’ve been a little better but so worth it as we all had a great time so thank you!Food: 5/5
This restaurant is now one of my favourite spots in London. It’s a lovely small restaurant in borough market with great atmosphere , friendly staff and well the Food is something else. Outstanding.Food: 5/5
This was one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food…. OMG!! We opted for the luxury platter. We were a bit skeptical at first as it is fairly pricey, however it was worth every penny and be more than happy to pay that again. Will definitely be returning Food: 5/5
We came here for a birthday and they accommodated us mostly well, but there was definitely miscommunication during this process as we got given our cake back to us with the candles still in the pack when we wanted to celebrate. A little unfortunate. However, the main meal was very good, we ordered a number of dishes with the sea bream being a surprise favourite! I would recommend this is you can get it.
I absolutely loved this place! So much so that we had to go a second time during our few day visit just to try more dishes. The seafood is so fresh and the dishes are creative and taste amazing. It is located at a good spot in borough market and the service was really good as well. I would definitely recommend taking the scallop starter and the oysters as well!
Seafood platter was fresh and cooked to perfection, a real luxury for two. Service is friendly and welcoming. The only slight negative is that the tables are small, but that's likely in an intimate restaurant in Borough market. I will be back again to try the fish and chips.Food: 5/5
