I took my Fiat 500x in for its second service. I was quoted one price on the phone when booking only to be told that it was a different price when I arrived approximately £120 more. In fairness to them they did honour the lower price which I was happy with. On collection there was quite a delay while they wrangled with the computer system to get the agreed price on the invoice. After about 40 mins wait I got my invoice and keys and went on my merry way. Once home I looked at the invoice for the work and it had no details that actually matched my vehicle, wrong model, registration and incorrect details of the workmcarried out. Luckily the service book had been stamped correctly. On getting the vehicle back home there was a noise when the heater was switched on which wasn't there before, I tracked this down to the cabin filter being incorrectly fitted. I sorted this myself and then thought I'd better check a few other things. On checking the engine oil I discovered that while it had been changed it was overfilled by quite a significant amount certainly enough to cause major engine damage if it was driven more than a few miles.ended up draining the extra off myself. All in all not a great experience and I don't think I'll be going back.
I made a deal over the phone to part ex my car. I was honest about the state of the car and told them the car was not in the best condition. The salesman came up with a figure and I declined as it was more than I wanted to spend. He then rang me back and offered more for my car so that the deal could be done. I attended the showroom and spoke to some really nice staff and waited whilst the paperwork was being prepared. The sales manager then came over and asked where the spare wheel for the car was. I explained that the model of car didn't have one and the repair kit had never been with the car. He explained that the car was going to cost them more to get ready for auction and they wanted £500 more to do the deal which I declined. It wasn't what was said that was the issue it was how it was said. It was the rudest I have ever been spoken to when buying anything. His body language was confrontational and his tone was how you used to get spoken to at school. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying anything and I was left feeling embarrassed and quite annoyed.
I was very happy with my service from Volvo. Pleasantly surprised that they were the same price as a local independent garage. Even better, my car now has breakdown cover for a year and was valeted inside and out! I will recommend.
Jason was an excellent executive....he talked us through all the options and we made the correct decision..so much so that when we saw our new car both of us were blown away. He kept us informed when he said he would......I just hope he goes to another Alfa dealership as we love your cars but really value a good sales experience which we experienced.Shame you are no longer an Alfa dealership
In Summary: I would not recommend the Alfa Romeo dealer in Blackburn. Pushy salesman, poor customer service. Not willing to book a test drive without you wanting to commit. How can one commit without even trying the car? If Alfa Romeo want to make the Giulia a huge success, they seriously need to consider who they employ at their dealers. Full Story: I wanted to book a test drive in the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0 Petrol with an intention of purchasing it in the next 6 to 12 months. I’ve recently started a new job, but this job did not come with a company car, which means that I currently drive a very old car. My plan is to save up a significant deposit £10k within next 12 months, and then purchase a new car via PCP or HP. I want to know now what I am going to be saving for, and one of the cars that I am considering is above-mentioned Alfa. When I phoned Blackburn dealership to book a test drive, I explained my situation. The guy I spoke to was not keen on me driving the car without having an intention to purchase it. Despite my persistence, the guy told me to come back when I have my deposit, then he will present me with some offers at the same time. I felt that the guy did not even care if I was going to like the car, he just wanted to flog it. The whole experience nearly put me off buying an Alfa. Luckily, I phoned Arnold Clarke dealership in Leeds. Guy from Arnold Clark Dan, understood my position and was more than happy for me to come and test drive the car. Moreover, he let me drive two different engine versions, so I can see which one I like better. How’s this for a good customer service? Long story short, I would not recommend the Alfa Romeo dealer in Blackburn. As a result of my experience, I will not be purchasing anything from their salesman, who doesn't seem to know what a good customer service is.
Very professional - from ordering a car service, organising a courtesy car, swapping over vehicles, picking up vehicle after work done. All aspects of work done as agreed and a good car wash and valet included. Communication excellent throughout. Satisfied customer who will return in future.
The level of service we received was great from the moment we walked in. The attention we received from Shanaz was amazing she had a good knowledge of the cars they had for sale and was courteous and professional in every way possible. I will not hesitate to go back to purchase my next car and I will recommend to my family and friends to go there. Overall a great experience. Thank you.
The whole process of buying my car from Blackburn Motor Park was good. There was no 'hard sell', everything was properly explained about the car and the part exchange i got on my old car was fair. I'd like to thank Ben Rawcliffe in the Sales Dept for a first-rate service. Recommended.
Easy on line service booking system. During the service there was an problem that meant the service could not go ahead. However arrangements were made immediately to reappoint and collect my car saving me a return journey. All went well and I have taken out the service plan as it represents great value. All in all a great service.
I have been to Doves Volvo at Blackburn Motorpark for the last few years now and have always been happy with the team there, especially Carl Mara, who has been happy to help me out and going the extra mile to help source cars for me over the years. Very happy with the latest service there too. My car was cleaned very well and very happy with the video check I was emailed telling me about the tyres, brakes and suspension etc. Very helpful staff all round at Volvo. Would recommend most highly.
