Service and food was excellent. There was a brand new menu the night we were in and everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. Portion sizes and quality were great. I had the fish and chips which were very good Although I forgot to take a photo and the Chocolate Fondant which was apparently a new item. All delicious with a great selection of drinks.
We had a Saturday night meal here with 4 adults and 2 kids. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was the last Saturday of the month which was grill night so we all had steaks. All the meat was nice and good quality and cooked exactly as we had asked for it. Lovely little pub with a lovely atmosphere. We went away really impessed. Will definitely return.
We have had half a dozen absolutely fabulous meals here with very good service. It is also very good value for money. The pub has a lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere and serves food of such high quality that it has become our favourite place to eat despite being over an hour's drive away for us. We highly recommend The Black Bull. We wish we'd found this Inn years ago.

Never visited before but phoned at very short notice yesterday afternoon for 5 people to eat and although they were busy we were made to feel extremely welcome. We changed our minds about where we wanted to sit and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous service, excellent food and everyone was really friendly and helpful. We'll be back and highly recommend - thank you Black Bull x
Staff couldn't do enough to make sure stay was enjoyable. Amazing food and comfy room. Good value for price with inclusive hearty breakfast. Definitely recommend and I would stay here again.
Called in for lunch, we had roast beef roll. It came with 2 roast potatoes a yorkshire pudding and a small jug if gravy. OMG It was delicious and not very expensive. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
