Love it's old fashioned hospitality. Very clean and cosy. I asked for a seafront room and we were given one. The steam and sauna wasn't working but the pool and Jacuzzi did. The meals were lovely. It was a very relaxing stay.

I stayed here for the night. i was parked on the car park for 25 minutes while waiting for my friend to find out what the room number was, then paid £7/£8 for overnight parking just outside the hotel. They have sent me a fine of £100 after already telling me they would remove the fine as i was a customer that night! Absolutely ridiculous.

Been here second time this month. Both times experienced fabulous time Staff very friendly and helpful. Reception, bar and restaurant. Food excellent! Rooms spacious, clean and warm Great nights sleep Spa is well worth a visit Had massages, totaly brilliant Love Southport Thank you royal Clifton for a perfect break

Visited here today with my daughter's, was greeted by Nicole at spa reception who was more than helpful and very welcoming. We then went through to have treatments carried out by Abbie. Giving the fact Abbie is new to her role this didn't show. It was a really relaxing and professional service and we were really impressed. The hotel itself is in much need of updating ,was disappointed to find the sauna was out of use and there were only certain machines in working use in the gym. However this was outweighed by the afternoon tea selection which was really good ,Abbies treatments and the lovely staff. Good luck for the future and we will be returning again.
