MY stay was very convenient, mainly because of the location, next to the Killburn High Road tube where you could easily reach Central London. There were some issues with the room like faulty air conditioning, windows that couldn't open air couldn't circulate, not good at all, the mattress wasn't perfect you could feel that it was used a lot of times and I couldn't flush properly. All in all, for the price it was good but it could be much better. The TV was good with nice sound but the signal went off sometimes. The complimentary coffee and milk was a nice touch. They changed towels every day.
Parts of the reason why I booked specifically with your hotel was because of the air conditioning, and the warm weather. We booked our room without windows on the understanding that the room would be cool because of the air conditioning.nnYou can imagine it was very disappointing to arrive in an incredibly warm room with the AC not working at all.nnWe did ask reception to be moved but the hotel was fully booked, I also noticed a full list of around 10 rooms that were also experiencing air conditioning failure. We were provided with a fan, but this fan simply moved around the warm air. I would estimate the temperature in the room was around about 35 degrees just to give you an idea of how hot it was.nnLater in the evening, we discovered that the source of the extreme heat in our room was the fact that the towel rail was on in the bathroom, and unable to be turned off. We tried the switch outside of the bathroom, which made no difference.nnWe tried to alert reception but there was nobody there, and nobody answering the phone number - There were other people at reception with the same problem.nnThe extreme heat caused patrons to block open fire doors, to try to get some air flow through the corridors - which I can imagine is not safe at all from a fire safety point of view.nnAs a result of this heat, on top of a very hot day it made the stay completely unbearable and unenjoyable. We were unable to sleep, and it ruined our stay in London.nnThe room also smelt strongly of damp, and there was evidence of repairs to the ceiling plasterwork.nnWe were told to talk to the manager the next day about a refund, however on checkout the manager was not there,
I'm not sure there's much positive I can say about the hotel other than it's near a tube station and a Tesco Express. The room had a leaky shower that nearly flooded the bathroom. When we noticed it, we needed to put a pile of towels in front of the shower door to soak up the leaks. We booked a room with a window that wouldn't open, air conditioning that didn't work, and it was dusty. There were cobwebs on the walls, and I'm convinced it was a bit moldy. The room was not adequately cleaned and required my partner and me to clean up before we felt comfortable unpacking. It's a cheap hotel for a reason! If you are considering staying here, I would advise you to pay a bit more for somewhere nicer. Don't make the same mistake we did.
Me and my wife stayed at this place for our first time visiting London United Kingdom. I'm just gonna put it to you this way. No. It is not a luxury hotel but I will tell you. One thing, it is a very nice and clean and very convenient hotel, especially for the area that it is located at! The rooms were very clean. The people working in the lobby were very friendly and very helpful. Everything was working. We had absolutely no problems. I can't even believe some of the reviews. I have been saying about this place. In my opinion , people always have to find the lowest things to complain about In my opinion, I cannot complain about anything about this hotel where me and my wife stayed. I will say this. However, the standard rooms are very small. But if you get yourself a king size room You will definitely be satisfied. Only other thing I will say is if you have never visited Europe Bring your wash cloths with you! Just about all these hotels do not provide wash cloths. But as I stated, we had a very good stay at this hotel. Plus The location of the motel is extremely convenient. The train station is just right across the street. There are tons of buses that run along the street. And there are plenty of eateries in the location. We had a great day.I would recommend this hotel to anybody!
Stayed for 2 nights for a friend's wedding. No hot water & broken shower tap first day, fixed water but not tap but not until after I had to use brides shower to get ready! Broken light fixture, food waste left in bin, screwed shut drawers, shabby overall appearance, hotel is in dire need of an overhaul & is nowhere near 4 star as advertised. Did get a partial refund & staff were polite. Only plus is location & bed was comfy.
