The builders are currently hard at work finishing off Berretto Lounge in time for our opening on 24th January!

Our Lounge will be a home from home, offering delicious food and drinks, all day, on your doorstep. We exist to bring people together and our unique atmosphere changes hour by hour with each new wave of customers. We are proud of our Lounge and its community and our aim is simple: every customer leaves happy.

You'll get a different experience here depending on the time of your visit. For me, my best times have been for breakfast but before every man and his dog turn up. Getting here earlier gives you the best chance of securing a table with a little more space, particularly handy when you come with kids. Food is okay but I'd say breakfast is their best course. Had some very average lunches here. Service is always a little indifferent and music a little bit on the loud side. But I like the decor and the airy feel to the place but only outside of peak times. A handy venue for meeting up and convenience, but you wouldn't go here for the food, I'm sad to say. It gets a 4 star from me but that's based on a morning visit and it's handy location. Parking: Redrock car park is just metres away. Kid-friendliness: Decent menu for kids and big enough for their screaming to be drowned out
My recent visit to Berretto Lounge was overshadowed by several disappointing aspects that significantly impacted the overall dining experience. I had high hopes for a pleasant meal, but unfortunately, encountered numerous setbacks that left me dissatisfied. I opted for the chicken burger, but it arrived with a perplexing temperature contrast—while the exterior was cold, the interior seemed unnaturally overheated, almost as if it had been hastily prepared using a microwave. The inconsistency in temperature and texture indicated a lack of attention to detail in the cooking process. It was evident that the dish had not been prepared to the standards one would expect from a dining establishment. To add to the disappointment, the service at Berretto Lounge was notably slow. It appeared that there were only two staff members serving a seemingly crowded establishment, leading to extended wait times for both service and meals. This lack of adequate staffing greatly affected the efficiency and overall quality of service. The visibly overwhelmed staff struggled to manage the influx of customers, resulting in delayed service and a compromised dining experience. It's regrettable that the management did not anticipate or adequately address the staffing needs, leading to a decline in service quality. While the ambiance of the place was pleasant and had potential, the subpar food quality and slow service overshadowed any positive aspects of the visit. In conclusion, my visit to Berretto Lounge was marred by a poorly executed dish and unsatisfactory service due to inadequate staffing. The incongruity in food quality and the slow service significantly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. Until improvements are made in both the quality of food preparation and service efficiency, I find it challenging to recommend Berretto Lounge as a dining destination.
Second time here after a poor service a few weeks ago. It was a bit quieter today and service was better, however, we asked for a couple of plates of tapas to come out first but all the food came out together. Food was tasty, well cooked and spicy where it should be. Staff were polite but didn't really engage other than to take your order and clean your table. No chat or smiles. We had a couple of cocktails that were very nice but my Espresso Martini had a better head than my previous pint of beer. A nice place to grab a tasty dish or two but you will need to bring your own atmosphere.
We visited Berretto Lounge on Sunday morning. It was a beautiful place. Great atmosphere, nice and spacious, very well decorated to create a calm, chilled vibe and ambiance, but… When we arrived we didn’t get the warmest welcome. We asked if we could put 2 tables together for the 6 of us. This was declined for whatever reason. We then found a table near the door. We ordered our food, which was great. However, one of the friends the had a hair in their beans. The meal was sent back, a refund given along with a gift voucher to spend at any lounge in the country. A nice place. Great food, despite the unfortunate hair and a great atmosphere, but would be hesitant to visit again.
Absolutely fantastic place to eat, and the decor is smart and unique too. Always eat here, and the staff are so warm, helpful and friendly. The food is top quality too. Awesome spot. 9/10
Today, we enjoyed a meal for 20 volunteers from a local community project Friendly Fridays and we had the best time! From booking the table for such a large group, organising food orders ahead of time, to turning up to our reserved tables, everything was very straightforward. The service was excellent, especially considering the size of our party! Our food arrived all at the same time, beautifully cooked and delicious. Desserts were a dream...huge thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of organising a group booking. Thank you
Been coming to Berretto Lounge for the best part of two years. A punt taken one time when going to the Cinema. It’s now one of my Girlfriend and I’s go to place. Especially every Wednesday the last couple of months for our weekly date/quiz night! All staff are lovely and welcoming, the place is always clean and the decor is super quirky and cute. The fact it’s also dog friendly is a bonus for us cause we love to see all the Doggo’s that come along! Thank you for always making us feel welcomed, each and everytime we turn up! Dietary restrictions: Variety of meat/vegetarian/vegan/GF options. Parking: Literally underneath the multi-storey NCP at Red Rock and parking is free after 6pm. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome, there’s a games/toy box for them to keep them occupied. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and double doors if anyone may be using a wheelchair/walker
Ordered with QRcode. Great atmosphere for a friend gathering. Well-decorated. Burger is great with brioche bun , with a tasty sauce and a juicy patty. The brisket is very delicious and it comes with a seasoned bowl of rice. The combination is great, worth a try!
Lots of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian choices. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend the strawberry coconut milkshake Those who ordered burgers and chips got their food faster, so if it's busy and you're a stravin' marvin' opt for that. We waited over an hour for our food, if not more- however, it was extremely busy and there was bound to be a queue, especially because we went during the lunch time rush and when there was an event on. Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegan menu. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids there due to good healthy choices at a reasonable price. There are colouring pages and crayons too and highchairs.
I come here often, usually once every other week as I have a cinema membership to the Light next door and the service has always been 10/10. The staff are lovely, the food is good and they have a great selection for my friend who has a gluten allergy. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
