Lovely local pub with good beer and excellent food. Went to a retirement get together on Friday night and we all had a good time. Parking is a bit limited though.

Very good value for the room. Clean and comfy beds.Stayed on a Saturday so rather noisey till about 12 only to be expected in a busy pub.Breakfast very good would stay again

Robinsons Brewery's tap house. Always a good range of the brewer's own beers on cask. Multi-roomed and very historic in parts. Extended some years ago to allow easier movement throughout. Recommended.

We called in early afternoon on a Sunday, it was quiet with a couple of other customers sat at the bar, so both drinks and meal service's were quick, we ordered the mixed meat sunday roast dinners, and wasn't disappointed, it looked and tasted great, and was reasonably priced too, with good sized portions, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's certainly some where I would go again, being a Robinson's house it has a selection of beers as well as drinks offers depending on what day/night you go in.
