It's a difficult one. Maybe lacks atmosphere, but bar staff are lovely. Beer excellent. I'm a gobby bugger so always find someone interesting to talk too. Get some music on in the bar! That would help...

It's got a old school pub comfy cozy feel about it but there's nothing old about the ale it's fresh lively unique and tasty. The fact that there's a range of quality ales brewd on site is not shoved down your throat like some places and it's very humble letting the ale talk for its self. Well worth walking the extra distance from town centre for .

A quiet place to enjoy a great selection of their own brews and a very full bottle menu. Pork pies and friendly staff. My favourite pub in Stockport.

Great selection of beers including their own micro brewery beer fool hardy. Two rooms. Go left at the entrance there are seats and a small games room. Go right at the entrance for a normal seating area. Good warm atmosphere.
